Emanuel Augustus Byrd (born December 9, 1994) is an American former professional football tight end. He played college football at Marshall, and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2017.
Byrd played quarterback and tight end for Georgia Military College in 2013 and 2014. [1] He transferred to attended Marshall University, where he played tight end on the Marshall Thundering Herd football team in 2015 and 2016. [2]

After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL draft, Byrd signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 9, 2017. [4] On July 31, 2017, he was waived by the Chiefs. [5]
On August 5, 2017, Byrd signed with the Green Bay Packers. [6] He was waived by the Packers on September 2, 2017. [7] He was re-signed to the practice squad on November 3, 2017. [8] He was promoted to the active roster on December 26, 2017. [9]
On September 1, 2018, Byrd was waived by the Packers. [10]

Christopher David Hanson is an American former professional football player who was a punter for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd, and was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 1999. He also played professionally for the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots. Hanson is perhaps best known for a season-ending injury sustained while swinging a motivational axe in the Jaguars' locker room in 2003. Hanson was a switch-punter, able to effectively kick with both his left and his right leg, which he alternated to reduce fatigue.
William Morton Lyon is an American former professional football defensive lineman who played for the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs after going undrafted in 1997 but was waived before the start of the regular season. Lyon later joined the Packers' practice squad in 1997 and played in 59 games for the team from 1998 to 2002. He also appeared in 13 games for the Minnesota Vikings in 2003.
