The Embassy of Austria in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Austria to Pakistan. It is located at 7-A, Street 21 in Sector F-8/2, Islamabad. [1] Austria and Pakistan established diplomatic relations in 1956. [2]
The embassy provides consular services to Austrian citizens in Pakistan, [1] and oversees bilateral relations between both countries. [3] [4] [5] [6] It is concurrently accredited to Afghanistan. [1]
The current Austrian ambassador to Pakistan is Andrea Wicke, appointed in October 2022. [7]
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan emerged as an independent country through the partition of India in August 1947 and was admitted as a United Nations member state in September 1947. It is currently the second-largest country within the Muslim world in terms of population, and is also the only Muslim-majority country in possession of nuclear weapons. De facto, the country shares direct land borders with India, Iran, Afghanistan, and China.
The Soviet Union and Pakistan first established the diplomatic and bilateral relations on 1 May 1948.
Foreign relations between Argentina and Pakistan, have existed for half a century. The relationship has recently grown with important trade ties developing along with other inter-government communications. Pakistan has an embassy in the Buenos Aires, as does Argentina in Islamabad.
Bosnia and Herzegovina–Pakistan relations are the foreign relations between Pakistan and Bosnia. Pakistan recognised the independence of Bosnia from Yugoslavia in 1992, and the two established diplomatic relations. Bosnia has an embassy in Islamabad. Pakistan has an embassy in Sarajevo.
Hungary–Pakistan relations are foreign relations between Hungary and Pakistan. Both countries established diplomatic relations on November 26, 1965. Since 1970, Hungary has an embassy in Islamabad and an honorary consulate in Karachi. Pakistan has an embassy in Budapest.
Bilateral relations exist between Austria and Pakistan. Pakistan maintains an embassy in Vienna, where the current Ambassador of Pakistan to Austria is Mansoor Ahmad Khan, as well as an Honorary Consulate in Innsbruck. Austria also has an embassy in Islamabad, where the current Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan and Afghanistan is Axel Wech. There are Honorary Consulates in Karachi and Lahore as well.
The Embassy of the United States in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of the United States in Pakistan. The embassy in Islamabad is one of the largest U.S. embassies in the world, in terms of personnel, and houses a chancery and complex of office buildings. The embassy complex also houses a contingent of military officials and intelligence personnel in addition to diplomatic and non-diplomatic staff. U.S. Department of State also maintains Consulates in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.

Pakistan–Somalia relations are the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Somalia. Both Organisation of Islamic Cooperation members, the two countries have historically maintained strong relations. Somalia also has an embassy in Islamabad.

The Embassy of Brazil in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Brazil in Pakistan. The current Brazilian ambassador to Pakistan is Olyntho Vieira.
European Pakistanis are the residents of Pakistan who are of full or partial European origin.
The Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Algeria to Pakistan. It is located at House No. 107, St. No. 9, in Sector E-7, Islamabad. Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognise the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic in 1958. This was followed shortly later by Algeria opening its diplomatic mission in Karachi, then the capital of Pakistan.
The Embassy of Argentina in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Argentina to Pakistan. It is located at 20, Hill Rd, F-6-3, F-6, Islamabad, Islamabad. Argentina sent its first diplomat to Pakistan in January 1948. The two countries soon established full diplomatic relations and the Argentine embassy was opened in Karachi, the former capital, on 29 October 1951.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan to Pakistan. It is located at Plot 1D and 1E in Diplomatic Encave II, Islamabad. The embassy is concurrently accredited to Afghanistan.
The Embassy of Bahrain in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Bahrain to Pakistan. It is located at House No. 12, Street 2 in Sector F-6/3, Islamabad. Bahrain also has a consulate-general in Karachi.
The High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad is the chief diplomatic mission of Bangladesh to Pakistan. It is located in Sector F-6 of Islamabad. The present Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Pakistan is Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique, who assumed diplomatic duties in October 2020. Bangladesh also has a Deputy High Commission in Karachi, and an honorary consul in Lahore.
