Emil Soravuo (born 28 March 1997) [1] is a Finnish artistic gymnast and the 2021 bronze medalist in floor exercise. In 2019, he won the gold medal in the men's floor exercise event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. [2] [3]

In 2014, he represented Finland at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics held in Nanjing, China without winning a medal.

In March 2017 he completed his military service at the Armed Forces Military School, where he trained in gymnastics in the evenings. "I actually did really well in the army. I got to keep myself fit there." [4]

In 2019, he competed in the men's floor event at the 2019 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships without winning a medal.

In 2021, he competed in the men's floor event at the 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and won the bronze medal. [5]

Max Antony Whitlock is a British artistic gymnast. With fourteen medals and six titles in Olympic and World Championships, Whitlock is the most successful gymnast in his nation's history. He is a six-time Olympic medalist, winning three golds and three bronzes, and a five-time world medalist on the pommel horse with three gold and two silvers. He became Great Britain's first-ever Olympic gold medalist in artistic gymnastics when he won both the floor exercise and pommel horse at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He is a four-time European champion and a four-time Commonwealth Games champion representing England.

Mai Murakami is a Japanese retired artistic gymnast and Olympic medalist. She is the 2017 and 2021 World champion on floor exercise, the 2018 World all-around silver medalist and floor exercise bronze medalist, the 2021 World balance beam bronze medalist, and a four-time Japanese national all-around champion. She represented Japan at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics, winning a bronze medal on floor exercise in the latter. This made her the first female Japanese gymnast to win an individual medal at the Olympics.

Carlos Edriel Poquiz Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast who has won multiple medals at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He is a specialist in Floor Exercise(FX), Vault(VT) and Parallel Bars(PB). He is the first Filipino and the first male Southeast Asian gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with his floor exercise bronze medal finish in 2018, and the first ever gold medal for the Philippines in 2019 on the same apparatus. This performance also qualified him to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He is noted for his precision in form and his difficulty in his routines especially in floor exercise.

The 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Kitakyushu, Japan from October 18–24, 2021. The competition took place at the Kitakyushu City General Gymnasium. It was the third time that Japan hosted the event, following the 1995 and 2011 editions.

Riley Austin Loos is an American artistic gymnast. He was a member of the gold medal-winning team at both the 2018 and 2022 Pan American Championships. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team and currently competing in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford.
