Sergey Ashihmin (Russian: Серге́й Ашихмин; is a Russian-born Kyrgyzstani former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a former Kyrgyzstan record holder in the 50 and 100 m freestyle. While playing for the Russian senior team, Ashihmin also earned a silver medal, along with Denis Pimankov, Dmitry Chernyshov, and double Olympic champion Alexander Popov, in the 4×100 m freestyle relay at the 1999 European Aquatics Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
Richard Sam Bera is a former Indonesian swimmer, who specialized in sprint and middle-distance freestyle events. He is a three-time Olympian, a bronze medalist at the Asian Games (1990), and a twenty-three times SEA Games gold-medalist since his debut in 1987. He is regarded as Indonesia's most successful swimmer in the sporting history. Up until 2015, Bera held several Indonesian and Southeast Asian Games records in sprint freestyle events from the Southeast Asian Games.
Sng Ju Wei is a Singaporean former swimmer, who specialized in sprint and middle-distance freestyle events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a triple medalist at the 2001 Southeast Asian Games. Sng also trained for the Aquatic Performance Swim Club in Singapore district, under head coach Jin Xia Li.
Tamer Hamed Ali Zinhom Muhammad is an Egyptian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and an Egyptian record holder in the 50 m freestyle.
Howard Xavier Hinds is a Curaçao former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a member of the Fort Lauderdale Swim Team, under head coach Jack Nelson.
Huang Chih-yung is a Taiwanese former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a bronze medalist at the 1998 Asian Games.
Zurab Beridze is a Georgian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. After Georgia gained its independence from the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, Beridze became the first ever swimmer in history to represent his nation at the 2000 Summer Olympics. While studying in the United States, he held the 50-yard freestyle time (20.89), the second fastest in school's record books, and also played for the Western Illinois University's swimming and diving team under head coach Jerry Champer.
Kenny Roberts is a Seychellois former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle, but also competed in breaststroke and in individual medley. He represented the Seychelles in all three editions of the Olympic Games, since the nation made its comeback in 1992. While studying in the United States, he played for the Bolles School's Sharks Club, under head coach Gregg Troy, and later for the Clemson University's swimming and diving team, also known as the Clemson Tigers. Currently, Roberts is appointed as the chairman of the Seychelles Swimming Association (SSA).
Ayoub Al-Mas is an Emirati former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Al-Mas competed for the United Arab Emirates in the men's 50 m freestyle at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He received a ticket from FINA, under a Universality program, in an entry time of 24.11. He challenged seven other swimmers in heat three, including two-time Olympians Howard Hinds of the Netherlands Antilles and Emin Guliyev of Azerbaijan. Racing on the outside lane, he faded down the stretch to pick up a fourth seed in 24.91, a small fraction outside his entry standard. Al-Mas failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed fifty-sixth overall in the prelims.
Omar Hughes is a Grenadian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Hughes competed for Grenada in the men's 50 m freestyle at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He received a ticket from FINA, under a Universality program, in an entry time of 24.00. He challenged seven other swimmers in heat three, including two-time Olympians Howard Hinds of the Netherlands Antilles and Emin Guliyev of Azerbaijan. He raced to the fifth seed in 25.06, more than a second outside his entry standard. Hughes failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed fifty-seventh overall in the prelims.
João Carlos da Silva Paquete Aguiar is an Angolan swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He represented Angola, as a 17-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and held numerous Angolan titles and meet records in the 50 m freestyle, while playing for August 1 Swimming Club in Luanda.
Elín Sigurðardóttir is an Icelandic former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Sigurdardottir represented Iceland in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also formerly held an Icelandic record in the 50 m freestyle, before it was eventually broken by Ragnheiður Ragnarsdóttir and Sarah Blake Bateman.
Duška Radan is a Montenegrin former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Originally from Montenegro, Radan represented the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also played for PKV Jadran Herceg Novi under head coach Ivan Zuber.
Hem Raksmey is a Cambodian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and breaststroke events. She represented Cambodia in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also held numerous age group records in all strokes. She also shared a sibling tandem together with her brother Hem Kiry, when they both competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
