Kaduna State is a state in northern Nigeria. The state capital is its namesake, the city of Kaduna which happened to be the 8th largest city in the country as at 2006. Created in 1967 as North-Central State, which also encompassed the modern Katsina State, Kaduna State achieved its current borders in 1987. The fourth largest and third most populous state in the country, Kaduna State is nicknamed the Centre of Learning, owing to the presence of numerous educational institutions of importance within the state such as Ahmadu Bello University.

Katagum is a town, a local government area and a traditional emirate in Bauchi State of north eastern Nigeria. The town is located on the northern bank of the Jama'are River, which is a tributary of the Hadejia. Most of the inhabitants are Muslim, along with people from the Fulani and Kanuri tribes. The chief agricultural products include peanuts (groundnuts), sorghum, millet, rice, cowpeas, cotton, indigo, and gum arabic. Livestock include horses, cattle, goats, sheep, donkeys and a lot of poultry.

The Zazzau, also known as the Zaria Emirate, is a traditional state with headquarters in the city of Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. The current emir of Zazzau is H.E Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR, who succeeded the former emir, late Alhaji Shehu Idris.
Barewa College is a college in Zaria, Kaduna State, northern Nigeria. Founded in 1921 by British Governor General Hugh Clifford, it was originally known as Katsina College. It switched its name to Kaduna College in 1938 and to Government College, Zaria in 1949 before settling on Barewa College. It is one of the largest boarding schools in Northern Nigeria and was the most-celebrated post-primary schools there up to the early 1960s. The school is known for the large number of elites from the region who attended and counts among its alumni include Tafawa Balewa who was Prime Minister of Nigeria from 1960 to 1966, four heads of state of Nigeria.
Alhaji Shehu Ladan was a Nigerian lawyer, philanthropist and oil and gas management strategist from Kaduna State who has contributed to the socio-economic activities of the state and Nigeria at large in different capacities. He was the immediate past Group Managing Director of NNPC in Nigeria.
Lere is a Local Government Area and town in Kaduna Kaduna State of Nigeria. Lere town is located geographically at the latitude 10 degrees 39 North and longitude 8 degrees 57 East. It is one of the local government areas in the Zaria metropolis as well as being one of the districts of the Zazzau Emirate Council. The towns and villages are Dogarawa, Bomo, Basawa, Zabi, Samaru, Kwari, Barashi, Muchiya and Palladan. The Local Government council is chaired by Alhaji Mohammed Usman.
The Suleja Emirate is a Hausa principality in what is now Niger State, Nigeria. The emirate was established as the Abuja Emirate during the 19th century, located just north of the site of the present-day federal capital city named Abuja. When the new city was established, the emirate and its capital were renamed the Suleja Emirate and Suleja. The emirate covers about 1,150 square miles of wooded savanna area. Suleja Emirate, Kontagora Emirate, Borgu Emirate, Agaie Emirate and Kagara Emirate were the major Emirates in Niger state.
The Daura Emirate is a religious and traditional state in Northern Nigeria, the Emir of Daura still rules as a ceremonial hereditary monarch, and maintains a palace. Muhammad Bashar became the emir in 1966, reigning for 41 years until his death in 2007, On 28 February 2007, Umar Faruk Umar became Emir of Daura succeeding Muhammad Bashar.

Hassan Dalhat, at Kakaki quarters in the ancient city of Zaria. He is a Nigerian seasoned bureaucrat and administrator who served at the upper echelon of the Kaduna state civil service. He holds the traditional title of Cigarin Zazzau and District Head of Sabon Birnin Daji in Kaduna state. The 3rd and last child of late Hajiya Fatima Dalhatu (1905-1998) and the 7th to late Alkali Dalhatu Muhammad (1885-1956). His father was a respected and influential High Court Judge (Alkali) who had served at Anchau-Takalafiya and Makarfi in Kaduna state. After the death of Shehu Ladan, the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji (Dr) Shehu Idris honoured him with the prestigious title. As District Head, he became a patron of both Western and Islamic education as a means to succeed in modern Nigeria. He is a people oriented leader who think less of himself and more of the less privileged. After the death of his father in 1956, his elder brother Alkali Bashir Dalhatu became his guardian, while the late Maccido Dalhat CON (1932-2012) became his mentor, confidant and buffer. Cigarin Zazzau is blessed with 3 wives and 10 children.
Ahmed Tijjani Mora is a Nigerian pharmacist, academic, former Registrar and now Chairman of the Governing Council of Pharmacists Council of Nigeria. He is the National President, Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association. He was elected President of the Alumni Association in August 2015 at the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the association. The assembly was attended by delegates from over 25 States. Prior to his election, he was the substantive Deputy National president of the association.
Shehu Idris was a Nigerian teacher who served as the 18th Emir of Zazzau, a Nigerian traditional state headquartered in Zaria. He also served as chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council and Kaduna State Council of Chiefs. A member of the Fula people, he ascended the throne on 8 February 1975 following the demise of Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu, his predecessor. Idris was the longest reigning monarch in the history of the Zazzau emirate, having reigned for 45 years from 1975 to 2020. He was succeeded by Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.
Muhammadu Aminu was the 17th Emir of Zazzau and Chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council. He was succeeded by Alhaji Shehu Idris on February 8, 1975 following his demise.

Gates of Hausa kingdoms are gates or walls (ganuwa) that formerly enclosed Hausa kingdoms. In ancient times, each kingdom was enclosed with a wall that contained various gates. During battles, the gates were closed as a war strategy. Each gate has a name and a gatekeeper. In the past, especially at night, the gatekeeper was in charge of a single gate at all time. All of the gates are assigned to a single person today.

He is the former Nigerian ambassador to Thailand with concurrent accreditation to Myanmar, and the current 19th Fulani Emir of Zazzau, a Nigerian traditional state with headquarters in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is the first Emir from the Mallawa ruling house to be enthroned in a century after the demise of his grandfather, Emir Alu Dan Sidi in 1920.
