Emma Russack is an Australian singer and songwriter, who grew up in Narooma, New South Wales, where she graduated from high school in 2005. [1] She currently lives in Melbourne. [2]

In 2004, when she was 16, she won the contest Fresh Air of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for young talents with her song "Used To This". [3] By 2008, she was already known on YouTube, where she had posted eight covers, [4] as well as two songs of her own, playing the guitar. [5] For some time between 2007 [6] and 2008, [7] she took on the artistic name Lola Flash, while being the singer of a band of the same name. The group members were Jake Phillips (bass), Alec Marshall (guitar), Paul Mc Lean (drums) and Kate Delahunty (violin). [8] The single "Psycho", published in 2009, is from that period. [9] She spent a year travelling around in South America. [2] In 2010, the EP Peasants was published, and in 2012 her first album, Sounds Of Our City, including ten songs, was released. [9] Articles about her have appeared in the German and Australian editions of Rolling Stone and in the Australian magazine Frankie . [10] She had her song "All My Dreaming" featured in the ending of The Walking Dead's Season 9 11th episode, "Bounty".

The Middle East are an Australian indie folk band that formed in Townsville, Queensland in 2005. The group garnered attention initially by playing small shows in their home town and quickly grew to national and international fame due to their rising popularity on music blogs and websites. In early 2008, the band released their home recorded first album called The Recordings of The Middle East. The band split up before reconvening in 2009 and signing to Australian indie label Spunk Records who re-issued 'The Recordings Of The Middle East' as an abridged EP.

"Fresh Out the Oven" is a song recorded by American singer Jennifer Lopez, featuring American rapper Pitbull. The mid-tempo electro-R&B song was written by Amanda Ghost, Lopez, Pitbull and Pharrell Williams, while production was handled by The Neptunes. Ghost brought the song to Lopez, who although loved it, didn't think it matched the sound of the music she had been recording at the time. Lopez eventually decided to record the song and release it as a promotional single in anticipation of her seventh studio album Love? (2011). The song premiered online on October 7, 2009 and was promoted to clubs in the United States by Epic Records.
