Emmanuel Botwe (20 May 1999) is a Ghanaian badminton player. [1] In 2019, he was ranked 759th in the BWF World Ranking Mens Singles. [2]
In 2010, Botwe took part in the 2010 All Africa Championship held in Mauritius. [3]
In 2013, he also participated in the 2013 All Africa Junior Badminton Championship held in Algeria. [4] [5]
Botwe together with his teammates Andrews Ebenezer, Daniel Doe, Jennifer Abitty, Grace Atipaka and Eryram Yaa Migbodzi participated in the World Badminton Championship for the first time. [6] In the Africa Under 19 Badminton Championship held in Ivory Coast, Botwe and his pair Abraham Ayittey lost in a 2-1 of three sets to Ebenezer Andrews and Daniel Doe. [7]
Botwe also participated in the 2019 African Games. [8] He lost 2–1 to Fantahune Abay of Ethiopia. [9]

Gifty Mensah is a Ghanaian badminton player who joined the national team in 2010. In 2011, she plays for Accra, compete at the Ghana Independence Day Open Championship. She won a gold in the women's doubles and a silver in the singles. At the same year, she was selected to represent her country to compete at the All-Africa Games. Teamed-up with Daniel Sam, they were the finalist at the 2015 Nigeria International tournament. In 2016, she was the runner-up at the Rose Hill International tournament in the mixed doubles event with Emmanuel Donkor, after battling with the Mauritanian Edoo and Louison. She also took the third place in the women's doubles event with Stella Amassah. In 2018, she competed at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
Derek Abrefa is a Ghanaian born table tennis player. He started playing table tennis when he was in Presbyterian Senior High School, Osu as a student and junior national champion. Derek being a junior ping pong player represented Ghana at the Africa Junior Championship in Alexandria, Egypt and the All African Games in Algiers, Algeria in 2007.
Ghana competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. Ghana competed in 14 sports. Ghana's participation was made possible by financial support from the Ghanaian government. In total, athletes representing Ghana won two gold medals, two silver medals and nine bronze medals and the country finished in 15th place in the medal table.
Joseph Paul Amoah is a Ghanaian sprinter specializing in the 100 metres and the 200 metres. He competed at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in the 100 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay, and at the 2019 African Games he won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay. Edwin Kwabla Gadayi is a Ghanaian sprinter. In April 2021, he was named in the five-member men's team who took part in the World Athletics Relays in Silesia, Poland. He took part in the semi-finals of the 200m at the African Games in Morocco where he was 4th (20.92s). In July 2022, he set a national record in the 200 meters at the 2023 Invitational Championship held in Cape Coast at a time of 20.848 seconds.
Ebenezer Andrews is a Ghanaian badminton player. In April 2019, he was part of the Ghanaian team which won bronze at the All Africa Mixed Team Championship that was held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
