An emporium refers to a trading post, factory, or market of Classical antiquity, derived from the Ancient Greek: ἐμπόριον, romanized: (empórion), which becomes Latin: emporium. The plural is emporia in both languages, although in Greek the plural undergoes a semantic shift to mean "merchandise".

Emporium is a luxury shopping mall in Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, Thailand. It opened in 1997. It is owned and operated by The Mall Group, who also operate the EmQuartier and Siam Paragon malls in Bangkok.

Emporium, more formally known as Troutman's Emporium, was a chain of department stores founded in 1955 by Dallas Troutman in North Bend, Oregon. After 1977, Emporium's headquarters was located in Eugene, Oregon. At its peak, Emporium operated at least 34 stores, in Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California and Washington. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2002 and liquidated. The last stores closed in 2003.

The flagship location on San Francisco's Market Street was a destination shopping location for decades, and several branch stores operated in the various suburbs of the Bay Area. The Emporium and its sister department store chains were acquired by Federated Department Stores in 1995, and many converted to Macy's locations.

Emporia is a shopping mall and one of the biggest ones in Scandinavia. It is situated in the city of Malmö in Sweden, near Malmö Arena and Hyllie railway station. Emporia opened on 25 October 2012 and the total construction expense was about 2 billion Swedish kronor. The architect of the Emporia project is Gert Wingårdh of Wingårdh arkitektkontor. Steen & Strøm owns the building.

Opened in 2016, it is the second largest mall in Pakistan after the Lucky One Mall in Karachi, and also one of the largest shopping malls of the world by gross leasable area. The Mall is managed by the Nishat Group. According to the mall's website, their daily estimated visitors are 44 thousand people.
