Endless Dream is the ninth album by Peter Bjorn and John. It was released on 13 March 2020 on the Ingrid label of which the band are co-founders.
The band's previous album Darker Days came shortly after the protracted and highly collaborative production of Breakin' Point and saw the band revert to a more in-house approach. Re-emboldened by the comparatively quick turnaround of Darker Days,further writing and recording took place almost immediately, [1] with the brighter tone and lyrical content of the resulting music both reflecting the band's mood and acting as a counterpoint to the mood of Darker Days and its companion digital EP EPBJ. [2] The album was preceded by six tracks released as singles in succession,each accompanied by its own music video which join up into a larger video presentation reminiscent of the whole-album music video for 2011's Gimme Some . [3] The album was released on vinyl LP and digital,but there is no CD release planned due to declining sales of the format. [4] [5]
The front cover artwork,depicting the band members looking up at three peaks of a mountain range,follows the consistent motif of having the three band members or three similar objects on each of their album covers. The cover was designed by Frans Enmark and illustrated by Graham Samuels,who had previously illustrated the artwork of their third album Writer's Block . [6] The rear cover artwork for the LP is a functional board-game board illustrated in the same style featuring the tracklisting embedded into the path of the board game. [7]

Stabbing Westward is an American industrial rock/alternative rock band. Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus formed the band in 1985 in Macomb,Illinois. The band released an extended play in 1992,followed by four studio albums:Ungod (1994),Wither Blister Burn &Peel (1996),Darkest Days (1998),and Stabbing Westward (2001). The band announced a dissolution in February 2002. Two compilation albums were later released in 2003. Stabbing Westward reunited in 2016 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its formation and continued to perform live shows. The band's first new album in 21 years,Chasing Ghosts,was released in 2022.

Ross Andrew Wilson is an Australian singer-songwriter,musician and producer. He is the co-founder and frontman of the long-standing rock groups Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock,as well as a number of other former bands,in addition to performing solo. He has produced records for bands such as Skyhooks and Jo Jo Zep &the Falcons,as well as for those of his own bands. He appeared as a judge on celebrity singing TV series It Takes Two from 2005. Wilson was individually inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 1989 and again as a member of Daddy Cool in 2006. Ross currently resides in the Melbourne suburb of Port Melbourne.

"Breakin' Point" is a song by Swedish band Peter Bjorn and John from their seventh studio album Breakin' Point (2016). It was released on 25 March 2016 through PBJ Musik and Ingrid as the album's second single. Written by the band and produced by Emile Haynie,"Breakin' Point" is a midtempo pop song with lyrics alluding to the protagonist's concerns about expecting a child. It features a whistling intro,which the band were initially hesitant to include as their breakthrough single "Young Folks" (2006) had a similar composition. They eventually decided "Breakin' Point" would represent a fitting tribute as it was conceived near the ten-year anniversary of "Young Folks".
