Douglas Jardine's England national cricket team toured New Zealand in March 1933 as an afterword to their "bodyline" tour of Australia. England and New Zealand played a two-match Test series. New Zealand were captained by Curly Page. Both Tests were drawn. The second Test of the series, at Auckland, was the 200th Test match to be played by England. [1]

The English cricket team's tour to Australia in 1903–04 was the first time the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) took over responsibility for sponsoring and arranging an overseas tour representing England. England had not won the Ashes since the 1896 series in England. The MCC appointed Plum Warner to put together and captain a team, which was very much seen as the underdogs against Australia. Warner and his team, however, pulled off the upset the English were looking for and won the five-Test series 3–2. In the first Test at Sydney, R.E. "Tip" Foster scored 287 to set the world record for the highest individual Test innings; the innings remains the highest by a Test debutant.

England were captained by Bob Willis and Pakistan by Zaheer Abbas. In addition, the teams played a two-match Limited Overs International (LOI) series which was drawn 1–1. The third Test of the series, at Lahore, was the 600th Test match to be played by England.
The England national cricket team toured the West Indies from January to April 1990 and played a five-match Test series against the West Indies cricket team which the West Indies won 2–1. The West Indies were captained by Viv Richards, and England by Graham Gooch. England's victory in the First Test at Kingston was their first over the West Indies since the 1973–74 series. The Second Test, scheduled as England’s first at Bourda since the 1973–74 tour, was abandoned without a ball being bowled. The Third Test, in which the West Indies were captained by Desmond Haynes, resulted in a draw; following an injury to Gooch in that match, Allan Lamb replaced him as captain for the final two Tests, both of which were won by the West Indies.
The New Zealand national cricket team toured England from 8 May to 23 June 2015 for two Test matches, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and a Twenty20 International (T20I) against the England cricket team. They also played two four-day tour matches and a one-day match against English county sides. England won the first Test at Lord's before New Zealand claimed victory in the second Test at Headingley to level the series. England then took an early lead in the ODI series after hitting more than 400 runs for the first time in their history in the first ODI at Edgbaston, before New Zealand reclaimed the lead with successive wins at The Oval and the Rose Bowl, only for England to mount successful run chases in the last two ODIs at Trent Bridge and the Riverside Ground to claim the series 3–2. England then won the only T20I at Old Trafford by 56 runs.
