"Enjoy The Ride" (stylized in all lowercase) is a song by American indie rock band Almost Monday, released on August 8, 2025. The song was the first new song they released following their 2024 debut album, Dive .
Almost Monday released their debut album, Dive , on September 25, 2024. Following the release of the album, they toured extensively worldwide. "Enjoy The Ride" was the first song the band released following the deluxe edition of Dive at the beginning of 2025. [2] Upon the song's announcement, the band said "(We) wrote this song a few weeks ago and felt like it wasn't summer, if Almost Monday wasn't dropping a song." [3]
When asked about the song, vocalist Dawson Daughterty stated: "'enjoy the ride' is a song about anxiety and trying to confront the things you fear. It's a reminder to ourselves to hold on to the beauty in life, even when things feel like they are spinning out of control." [4] "It's kind of just about slowing down and like enjoying the present and just being really grateful for where you're at right now and kind of not like getting too lost in like your own projection of the future. So yeah, it's a fun song. We wrote it with our producer Simon. And yeah, it's one of those songs that we wrote pretty fast and then released it really quickly after we finished, which is kind of different — usually we have a song for a bit before it gets put out. So this one was just like finished, and it's out there." [5]
The music video for "Enjoy The Ride" was directed by Sam Krisyofski and produced by Kevin Clark. [3]
