epic45 are a British indie/post-rock band. Core members Rob Glover and Benjamin Holton [1] [2] who grew up in Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire, [3] formed the band in 1995 when the two school friends were only 13 years old. [4] The band have released albums across various labels including Where Are My Records, Make Mine Music and their own Wayside and Woodland Recordings label. [5]

Holton has released three albums under the name My Autumn Empire (The Village Compass, 2010 ii, 2012 and The Visitation, 2014). Glover also records as The Toy Library and Field Harmonics (Walls, 2013).

The Exploited are a Scottish punk rock band from Edinburgh, formed in 1978 by Stevie Ross and Terry Buchan, with Buchan soon replaced by his brother Wattie Buchan. They signed to Secret Records in March 1981, and their debut EP, Army Life, and debut album, Punks Not Dead, were both released that year. The band maintained a large cult following in the 1980s among a hardcore working class punk and skinhead audience. Originally a street punk band, the Exploited eventually became a crossover thrash band with the release of their album Death Before Dishonour in 1987.

Ten Second Epic was a Canadian five-piece alternative rock band from Edmonton. The band formed in 2002 consisting of Andrew Usenik (vocals), Daniel Carriere (guitar), Craig Spelliscy (guitar), Sandy MacKinnon (bass) and Patrick Birtles (drums). TSE released three full-length albums in the course of their career, Count Yourself In, Hometown and Better Off. The band officially announced their breakup on February 25, 2014, and did their final tour in May 2014.

My Autumn Empire is the solo work of Staffordshire based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter; Benjamin Holton of epic45, the project was started in 2007 after a limited run of releases were collected and distributed. To date My Autumn Empire has released four full studio albums; The Village Compass (2010) and II (2012), The Visitation (2013) and Dreams of Death and Other Favourites (2015) through Wayside & Woodland recordings.
