The Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan is the Episcopal diocese in the northern two-thirds of the eastern half of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, not including the greater Detroit area, which is in the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan.
The diocese is headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan. It is a relatively new diocese, having been spun off from the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan in 1994. There are 50 separate parishes operating within the diocese. [1]
At a Special Convention held on March 16, 2024, in Grand Blanc, there was an overwhelming vote in favor of joining the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan to establish the Episcopal Diocese of The Great Lakes. However, this decision is still subject to approval by the next General Convention of The Episcopal Church.

Founded in 1817, the modern boundaries of the diocese roughly correspond to the portion of North Carolina between I-77 in the west and I-95 in the east, including the most populous area of the state. Raleigh, Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Durham are the largest cities in the diocese. The diocese originally covered the entirety of the state, until the Diocese of East Carolina which stretches to the Atlantic was formed in 1883, and the Diocese of Western North Carolina which lies to the west extending into the Appalachian Mountains was formed in 1922.

The diocese was formed from the existing Diocese of North Carolina on October 9, 1883, by action of the General Convention of the Episcopal Church. It consists of the congregations of the Episcopal Church in the eastern portion of the state of North Carolina and forms part of Province IV of the Episcopal Church. Major cities of the diocese include Wilmington, Fayetteville, New Bern, and Greenville. Originally its offices were located in Wilmington, but in 1983 a new diocesan house was built in Kinston, North Carolina, in order to be located more centrally in the diocese's territory. The diocese's current bishop is Robert Skirving.

Catherine Elizabeth Maples Waynick is an American Anglican bishop. She was the 10th bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis from 1997 to 2017. She was elected bishop coadjutor of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis in January 1997, was consecrated on June 7 of that year, and became the diocesan bishop on September 10, 1997. She succeeded Edward W. Jones, who served from 1977 to 1997. At the 2015 diocesan convention, Waynick announced plans to retire, and called for the election of a new bishop to be consecrated in 2017. She was succeeded by Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows on April 29, 2017. Waynick was called to serve as provisional bishop for the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan on October 21, 2017, serving until 2019.
The Episcopal Diocese of Lexington is the diocese of The Episcopal Church with jurisdiction over eastern Kentucky. It was created in 1895 from the Diocese of Kentucky which continues to have jurisdiction of the western portion of the state. The cathedral for the Diocese of Kentucky is located in Louisville. The Diocese of Lexington is in Province 4 and its cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, is in Lexington, as are the diocesan offices. The diocesan office is called Mission House.

Prince Grenville Singh served as the eighth Bishop of Rochester from 2008 to 2022. He then served as the Bishop Provisional of the Dioceses of Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan from 2022-2023 until his resignation amid a Title IV investigation.
