Equilibrium is the second album of the Canadian guitarist Erik Mongrain.
Equilibrium is an acoustic guitar album by Erik Mongrain recorded at Paul Reed Smith's Dragon Crossing Studios during August 2008. Mongrain is accompanied by Michael Manring (fretless bass) and Bill Plumber (synthesizer).
The CD cover is a painting by Yan Mongrain, the guitarist's brother.

Alex Webster is an American bassist who is best known as a member of the death metal band Cannibal Corpse. He is one of two remaining members of the original lineup of the band, along with drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz. He is also the bassist for the band Blotted Science and the supergroup Conquering Dystopia. Before Cannibal Corpse was formed, he was part of Beyond Death.

Erik Mongrain is a Canadian composer and guitarist. He has a unique and dark acoustic style, with a wide array of different techniques, approaches and textures reminiscent of Michael Hedges. Widely considered to be one of the best acoustic guitarists of the 2000s.
