Eric Ward (born April 12, 1987) is a former professional Canadian football quarterback He last played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. He was released by the Eskimos on June 2, 2012. [1] He played college football for the Richmond Spiders. [2] He was part of the Richmond Spiders teams that captured two CAA Football crowns in 2007 & 2009 and the NCAA Division I FCS championship in 2008. [3] He finished with a four year college record of 41-12. [4]
The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta. The club competes in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member of the league's West Division and plays their home games at Commonwealth Stadium. Kerry Tremaine Joseph is an American professional football coach and former player who is the quarterbacks coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at McNeese State as a quarterback and was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 1996. He later played defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks from 1998 to 2001. Joseph then played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a quarterback from 2003 to 2014. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Player in 2007 while leading the Saskatchewan Roughriders to victory in the 95th Grey Cup. At the end of the season, he had completed 267 of 459 passes for 4,002 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also led all quarterbacks in the league in rushing with 737 yards on 90 attempts and 13 touchdowns.

Armanti Fredrico Edwards Sr. is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a quarterback for the Appalachian State Mountaineers from 2006 to 2009, and was named a 2024 inductee of College Football Hall of Fame. Edwards led Appalachian State to one of the biggest upsets in college football history, a 34–32 victory over then fifth-ranked Michigan in 2007. He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the third round of the 2010 NFL draft. In 2017, Edwards won the Grey Cup with the Toronto Argonauts. He last played for the CFL's Edmonton Elks.
