Eric Womack is an American actor and producer.
Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Eric Womack studied dramatic arts at UC Davis and was a member of the theatre troupe The Sick & Twisted Players in San Francisco. Eric has originated roles in three of playwright Ronnie Larsen's world premiere productions including the critically acclaimed Scenes From My Love Life, X-Mas and CS-A Love Story at San Francisco's Theatre Rhinoceros. [1] Eric now resides in Los Angeles where he continues to work in film and television.
In 2018, Eric Womack appeared as Officer Forrest in Andrew Fleming's latest film Ideal Home [2] [3] [4] [5] starring Paul Rudd, Steve Coogan, Alison Pill and Kate Walsh. Eric has also appeared in co-starring roles on Netflix's Insatiable and NBC's Bad Judge (both directed by Andrew Fleming, as well), FX's Snowfall [6] (directed by John Singleton) and Sean Patrick Murphy's [7] Project Green Light finalist film Don't Be Leary presented on HBO. He was also a recurring regular featured detective on the CBS show Mike & Molly for three seasons (2014–2016). [8]
Short films that Eric Womack has starred in include acting opposite Kate Burton in Amy Barham's Nothing to See Here which was accepted into the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival. [9] AFI director Daniel Sawka's bilingual, immigration-themed film Icebox which was a top 10 finalist for the 2018 Best Live Action Short Film for the Academy Awards, [10] Joe Gonzalez's The Proposed (which he also co-produced) was accepted into many film festivals including the 2016 Dances with Films festival in Los Angeles [11] and Scott Sullivan's The Interrogation which was shown as part of the 2016 Newport Beach Film Festival. [12] In 2014, Eric appeared in Bruce Sze Han Chen's multiple award-winning dystopian fantasy short film Awaken, which was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival [13] as well as many domestic and international film festivals.

The Little Mermaid is a 1989 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The 28th Disney animated feature film, it is loosely based on the 1837 Danish fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. The film tells the story of a teenage mermaid princess named Ariel, who dreams of becoming human and falls in love with a human prince named Eric, which leads her to make a magic deal with the sea witch, Ursula, to become human and be with him. The Little Mermaid was written and directed by John Musker and Ron Clements and produced by Musker and Howard Ashman, who also wrote the film's songs with Alan Menken. Menken also composed the film's score. The film stars the voices of Jodi Benson, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Pat Carroll, Samuel E. Wright, Jason Marin, Kenneth Mars, and Buddy Hackett.
In the Heights is a musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, New York City.

He is known for creating the Broadway musicals Hamilton (2015) and In the Heights (2005), and the soundtracks for the animated films Moana (2016), Encanto (2021), and Vivo (2021). His awards include three Tony Awards, three Grammy Awards, two Laurence Olivier Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, an Annie Award, a MacArthur Fellowship Award, a Kennedy Center Honor, and a Pulitzer Prize.
Fish Tank is a 2009 British drama film written and directed by Andrea Arnold. The film is about Mia, a volatile and socially isolated 15-year-old, and her relationship with her mother's new boyfriend. Fish Tank was well-received and won the Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. It also won the 2010 BAFTA for Best British Film. It was included in the BBC's The 21st Century's 100 greatest films, ranking at no. 65 on the list.
Thomas Kail is an American theatre director, known for directing the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musicals In the Heights and Hamilton, garnering the 2016 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for the latter. Kail was awarded the Kennedy Center Honor in 2018.

Hamilton is a biographical sung-and-rapped-through musical by the American composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda. Composed over a seven-year period from 2008 to 2015, the musical tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Miranda said that he was inspired to write the musical after reading the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. Miranda says Hamilton was originally a hip hop album in his head. The show draws heavily from hip hop, as well as R&B, pop, soul, and traditional-style show tunes. It casts non-white actors as the Founding Fathers of the United States and other historical figures. Miranda described Hamilton as about "America then, as told by America now."
The Hamilton Mixtape is a 2016 mixtape album featuring assorted songs from the 2015 Broadway musical Hamilton performed by various artists, as well as some deleted songs from the musical. It was widely well-received by critics.
"Ain't Your Mama" is a song recorded by American singer Jennifer Lopez. It was written by Meghan Trainor, Theron Thomas, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Gamal "Lunchmoney" Lewis, Henry "Cirkut" Walter and Dr. Luke, while production was handled by the latter two. A pop song with influences of reggae, dancehall and Latin music, the song has percussion, drums, minimal synths and a Latin beat in its main instrumentation. Lyrically, "Ain't Your Mama" deals with themes of female empowerment, where the protagonist will not accept a partner who needs to be taken care of.
In the Heights is a 2021 American musical drama film directed by Jon M. Chu from a screenplay by Quiara Alegría Hudes based on the stage musical of the same name by Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film stars Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace in her film debut, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gregory Diaz IV, and Jimmy Smits. The film follows a similar plot to the musical, telling the story of a corner in the predominantly Dominican Washington Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan in New York City, where every member of the community pursues their sueñitos for a better life.
Ryan Heffington is an American dancer and choreographer based in Los Angeles. He was nominated for two Grammy Awards for choreographing the music videos for Arcade Fire's "We Exist" (2013) and Sia's "Chandelier" (2014), winning a VMA Award for the latter.

Vivo is a 2021 American computer-animated musical comedy film produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation. The film was directed by Kirk DeMicco and co-directed by Brandon Jeffords, from a screenplay written by DeMicco and Quiara Alegría Hudes, based on an original idea by Hudes and Peter Barsocchini; with songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also voices the title character and serves as one of the executive producers of the film. The cast also features the voices of Zoe Saldana, Juan de Marcos, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Rooker, Nicole Byer, Ynairaly Simo, and Gloria Estefan. The film marks Sony Pictures Animation's first musical film. The story follows Vivo (Miranda), a music-loving kinkajou, who embarks on the journey of a lifetime to fulfill his destiny and must deliver a love song to Marta Sandoval (Estefan), a retiring singer.

It is produced by Marshall, DeLuca, Marc Platt, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the latter of whom co-wrote new songs for the remake as the lyricist. Alan Menken is set to return as the composer for both the score and the songs. The film stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, alongside Jonah Hauer-King, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy, with Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina in voice roles.
Tick, Tick... Boom! is a 2021 American biographical musical comedy drama film directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda in his feature directorial debut. Written by Steven Levenson, who also serves as an executive producer, it is based on the stage musical of the same name by Jonathan Larson, a semi-autobiographical story about Larson writing a musical to enter into the theater industry. The film stars Andrew Garfield as Larson, alongside Robin de Jesús, Alexandra Shipp, Joshua Henry, Judith Light, and Vanessa Hudgens.
Neptune Frost is a 2021 science fiction romantic musical film co-directed by Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman, and starring Cheryl Isheja, Elvis Ngabo and Kaya Free. It follows the relationship between Neptune and Matalusa, coltan miners whose love leads a hacker collective. Ezra Miller serves as a producer, while Lin-Manuel Miranda executive produces.
