Kriek lambic is a style of Belgian beer, made by fermenting lambic with sour Morello cherries. Traditionally "Schaarbeekse krieken" from the area around Brussels are used. As the Schaarbeek type cherries have become more difficult to find, some brewers have replaced these with other varieties of sour cherries, sometimes imported.

When the Raven Flies is a 1984 Icelandic-Swedish adventure film written and directed by Hrafn Gunnlaugsson. The story is set in Viking Age Iceland. The film was selected as the Icelandic entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 57th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. In 2016, online newspaper Kjarninn voted it as the best Icelandic film of all time.
Lindemans Brewery is a Belgian family brewery based in Vlezenbeek, a small town in the Flemish Brabant southwest of Brussels. It produces lambics, a style of Belgian ale that uses raw wheat and wild yeast.
The Stripschapprijs is a Dutch prize awarded to comic creators for their entire body of work. It is awarded annually by the Stripschap, the Dutch Society of comics fans, since 1974. The prize is non-pecuniary, but is considered the most important award for comics in the country.
MTV Nederland and België is a Dutch speaking free-to-air television channel broadcasting in the Netherlands. It launched as MTV NL on 12 September 2000. Before the start of country-specific channels, the Pan-European version of MTV aired in the Netherlands.

Aloys Oosterwijk is a Dutch cartoonist. He is the winner of the 2007 Stripschapprijs. Since 1996 he publishes a weekly comic strip Willems Wereld in the Dutch magazine Panorama. Oosterwijk is also known as a courtroom sketch artist.
Gerard Leever is a Dutch cartoonist. He is the winner of the 2006 Stripschapprijs.
Jan Steeman was a Dutch comics artist, best known for his association football comic Roel Dijkstra and Noortje, a comic strip about a bumbling teenage girl published in Tina. The latter runs for more than 40 years in succession, making it the longest-running Dutch comic strip by the self-same artist. His scriptwriter for Noortje was Patty Klein while his son Lucas has taken over the comic. Steeman won the 2005 Stripschapprijs. He died on 24 January 2018 from kidney failure.
Jean-Marc van Tol is a cartoonist. He is the winner of the 2004 Stripschapprijs for Fokke & Sukke, with John Reid and Bastiaan Geleijnse. He also played in the Dutch tv-series Wie is de mol.
Eric Schreurs was a Dutch cartoonist. He was the winner of the 2002 Stripschapprijs. He is most famous for his long-running humor comics series Joop Klepzeiker, which had satirical elements. Later in his career he was also active as a painter. His son Boris is a drag queen known as My Little Puny, who competed on season two of Drag Race Holland.
Bernard Willem Holtrop is a Dutch cartoonist living in France since 1968, who publishes under the pen name Willem. He is renowned for his sometimes provocative cartoons featuring violent and sexual imagery on political topics. He is the winner of the 2000 Stripschapprijs. and of the 2013 Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoulême.
Peter Pontiac was a Dutch cartoonist, comics artist and illustrator. He was the winner of the 1997 Stripschapprijs. Pontiac died on 20 January 2015, after a lengthy battle with severe liver disease.
Hein de Kort is a Dutch cartoonist. He is the winner of the 1992 Stripschapprijs.
Theo van den Boogaard – also known as Theo Bogart – is a Dutch cartoonist. He first came to attention as an underground cartoonist in the early 1970s for the sexually explicit comics series Ans en Hans krijgen de kans. He is best known for co-creating Sjef van Oekel, a long-running comic strip based on the TV character, written by Wim T. Schippers. He received the 1989 Stripschapprijs for his body of work.
Evert Geradts is a Dutch cartoonist and former underground comics artist. He later became a prolific Disney comics writer and artist too. He is the winner with Leny Zwalve of the 1977 Stripschapprijs.
Players who neither had high enough rankings nor received wild cards to enter the main draw of the annual Wimbledon Tennis Championships participated in a qualifying tournament held one week before the event. Several players withdrew from the main draw after qualifying had commenced, leading to the highest ranked players who lost in the final qualifying round to be entered into the main draw as lucky losers.
