The Stripschapprijs [1] is a Dutch prize awarded to comic creators for their entire body of work. It is awarded annually by the Stripschap, the Dutch Society of comics fans, since 1974. The prize is non-pecuniary, but is considered the most important award for comics in the country. [2]

Demy Patrick René de Zeeuw is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He previously played for AGOVV, Go Ahead Eagles, AZ and AFC Ajax. While at AZ he was a key player in the squad that won the 2008–09 Dutch league, the club's first championship victory in 28 years. Following this success he transferred to Ajax, with whom he won the 2009–10 Dutch Cup, and the 2010–11 Dutch league title. A good tackler and a gifted passer of the ball, he made 24 appearances for the Netherlands national team.

Orlando Wensley Engelaar is a Dutch retired footballer. Engelaar usually played as a midfielder, and is well known for his height. At 1.96 metres tall, he is a towering presence on the pitch. His greatest quality was largely considered to be his through pass because, in spite of his size, Engelaar was very much an attack-minded player.

The C. Buddingh'-prijs is an annual literary award for the best debut poetry collection in Dutch. The award is given by Poetry International and is named after Dutch poet C. Buddingh'. The award was first given in 1988 and the award is given during the Poetry International Festival in Rotterdam. As of 2022, the winner of the prize receives 1,250.

Junior Songfestival is a Dutch televised music competition for children, held annually since 2003. It is the children's version of the Nationaal Songfestival. The winner of the contest goes on to represent the Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, an international version of the competition.

Max Reisel was a Dutch semiticist and a teacher at the Montessori Lyceum Rotterdam. He strove in the dissemination of knowledge about Judaism in general and Hebrew language in particular. He played an important role in the field of education in the Netherlands.

Jeanet Maria Petronella van der Laan is a Dutch retired footballer, teacher, and politician of the social liberal party Democrats 66 (D66).

Egidius Simon "Gidi" Jacobs was a Dutch professional footballer at Feyenoord and Hermes DVS. His position was midfielder. Jacobs later became a football manager, most notably at VV Zwaluwen.
