Evert Geradts (born 9 June 1943, The Hague) is a Dutch comics artist and former underground comics artist. He later became a prolific Disney comics writer and artist too. [1] He is the winner with Leny Zwalve of the 1977 Stripschapprijs. [2]

Edited by Chicago-based cartoonist Jay Lynch, Bijou Funnies featured strong work by the core group of Lynch, Skip Williamson, Robert Crumb, and Jay Kinney, as well as Art Spiegelman, Gilbert Shelton, Justin Green, and Kim Deitch. Bijou Funnies was heavily influenced by Mad magazine, and, along with Zap Comix, is considered one of the titles to launch the underground comix movement.

Jan Steeman was a Dutch comics artist, best known for his association football comic Roel Dijkstra and Noortje, a comic strip about a bumbling teenage girl published in Tina. The latter runs for more than 40 years in succession, making it the longest-running Dutch comic strip by the self-same artist. His scriptwriter for Noortje was Patty Klein while his son Lucas has taken over the comic. Steeman won the 2005 Stripschapprijs. He died on 24 January 2018 from kidney failure.

Bastiaan Geleijnse is a Dutch cartoonist and comics artist. He is the winner of the 2004 Stripschapprijs for Fokke & Sukke, with John Reid and Jean-Marc van Tol.

Eric Schreurs was a Dutch comics artist. He was the winner of the 2002 Stripschapprijs. He is most famous for his long-running humor comics series Joop Klepzeiker, in magazine Nieuwe Revu, which had satirical elements. Later in his career he was also active as a painter.

Peter de Wit is a Dutch comics artist and cartoonist. He is best known for his comics series De Familie Fortuin, Sigmund and his collaborations with Hanco Kolk with whom he created the series Gilles de Geus and S1NGLE.

Leny or Lena Zwalve is a Dutch cartoonist. She is the winner with Evert Geradts of the 1977 Stripschapprijs. In the mid 1970s she moved to California, where she and her husband Glenn Bray are publishers and maintain the estate and art of Stanisław Szukalski.

Disney Masters is a series of books collecting anthologies of critically acclaimed Walt Disney Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse international comic artists. Italian artist Romano Scarpa was the first featured creator in the series, in the volume titled The Delta Dimension. The publisher behind the project is Fantagraphics Books. The first book of the series was released in May 2018.
