Mark Retera is a Dutch cartoonist, best known for his absurd gag comic DirkJan. He is the winner of the 2004 Stripschapprijs. He also draws caricatures for the Dutch weekly Panorama.

Jan Steeman was a Dutch comics artist, best known for his association football comic Roel Dijkstra and Noortje, a comic strip about a bumbling teenage girl published in Tina. The latter runs for more than 40 years in succession, making it the longest-running Dutch comic strip by the self-same artist. His scriptwriter for Noortje was Patty Klein while his son Lucas has taken over the comic. Steeman won the 2005 Stripschapprijs. He died on 24 January 2018 from kidney failure.

Eric Schreurs was a Dutch cartoonist. He was the winner of the 2002 Stripschapprijs. He is most famous for his long-running humor comics series Joop Klepzeiker, which had satirical elements. Later in his career he was also active as a painter. His son Boris is a drag queen known as My Little Puny, who competed on season two of Drag Race Holland, placing as the runner-up of the season.
Bernard Willem Holtrop is a Dutch cartoonist living in France since 1968, who publishes under the pen name Willem. He is renowned for his sometimes provocative cartoons featuring violent and sexual imagery on political topics. In 1968 two of his cartoons led to court cases, where he was, among others, accused of lèse-majesté for depicting queen Juliana of The Netherlands as a prostitute. In the end he was only sentenched for a cartoon criticizing police brutality by comparing it with Nazism. The events motivated Willem to move to France, where he still lives to this day. His work attacks religion, the monarchy, the far-right, the far-left, terrorism and war policies.
Peter de Wit is a Dutch comics artist and cartoonist. He is best known for his comics series De Familie Fortuin, Sigmund and his collaborations with Hanco Kolk with whom he created the series Gilles de Geus and S1NGLE.
Peter Pontiac was a Dutch cartoonist, comics artist and illustrator. He was the winner of the 1997 Stripschapprijs. Pontiac died on 20 January 2015, after a lengthy battle with severe liver disease.

Toon van Driel is a Dutch cartoonist, comics writer and comics artist, best known for his comics series F.C. Knudde, about an incompetent association football team, and De Stamgasten, which features anthropomorphic animals telling corny jokes in a bar. He is the winner of the 1988 Stripschapprijs. Van Driel was also the original writer of Eric Schreurs' comic strip Joop Klepzeiker.

Evert Geradts is a Dutch cartoonist and former underground comics artist. He later became a prolific Disney comics writer and artist too. He is the winner with Leny Zwalve of the 1977 Stripschapprijs.
