Erin Cebula is a Canadian television personality and former reporter for Entertainment Tonight Canada . [2] [3] Cebula first became an entertainment reporter for the and is known for her pre- and post-game coverage of the CBS show Survivor . [4] That led to her next job as host of the TV program Urban Rush, a daily hour-long live show. [4] [5] In 2007, she was host of the Vancouver-based show Makeover Wish, which aired on HGTV. [6] In 2009, after interviewing Michael Bublé multiple times for ET Canada, she asked for, and was given, a small appearance in his video for Haven't Met You Yet. [7]

Cebula grew up in Aldergrove, British Columbia, where she was raised on a hobby farm. [8] She obtained a diploma in television broadcasting from BCIT. [8] Cebula was a snow instructor before getting into TV as a career. [1] Prior to working on Urban Rush, she worked off screen as an editor for James Barber's The Urban Peasant. [8] Cebula and her husband Shawn Lee live in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. [1] [9] [7]

As of 2014, she is the West Coast correspondent for ET Canada. [4]

The Juno Awards of 2018, honouring Canadian music achievements, were presented in Vancouver, British Columbia during the weekend of 24–25 March 2018. The primary telecast ceremonies were held at Rogers Arena. Vancouver previously hosted the Juno Awards in 1991, 1998 and 2009. <i>Island of Bryan</i> Canadian reality television series

Island of Bryan is an HGTV Canada reality television series of renovation, home life, and business activities, premiering in Spring 2019. The show is similar to House of Bryan and Bryan Inc., two previous shows starring builder Bryan Baeumler, his wife Sarah, and their children; along with Bryan's apprentice Adam. The Baeumler family is renovating and restoring a tropical island beachfront resort, to operate as their own, that the Baeumler couple has bought by leveraging everything they have, and their financial safety net. The show was broadcast in the United States on HGTV USA as Renovation Island.

Jessica Simpson, commonly known by her former legal name, Jessica Yaniv, is a Canadian transgender activist in British Columbia who is best known for filing at least 15 complaints of discrimination on the basis of gender identity against various beauty salons after they refused to wax her male genitalia. The complaints were filed with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal in 2018 and 2019. It was the first major case of alleged transgender discrimination in retail in Canada. In 2019, the Tribunal rejected her complaints and ruled Yaniv had racist motives. In following years, Yaniv has gone on to make additional complaints of discrimination, libel and privacy breach.
