Johan Ernst Saari (20 July 1882 - 29 March 1918; original surname Ylisaari) was a Finnish farmer and politician, born in Lapua. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1913 until his death in 1918, representing the Finnish Party. During the Finnish Civil War, being a prominent supporter of the White side, he was arrested by Red Guards and shot in Tampere on 29 March 1918, as White troops were preparing to storm the city. [1]
Lieutenant Colonel Paavo Susitaival, born Paavo Sivén, was a Finnish author, soldier and politician. Paavo Sivén and his brother, Bobi Sivén were prominent figures in the Finnish interwar Nationalist movement. Paavo had acquired his reputation smuggling volunteers to Germany to enlist in the 27. Imperial Jaeger Battalion; Bobi gained his by being the last alderman of Porajärvi municipality before the ratification of the Treaty of Tartu who shot himself rather than acknowledge the transfer of Porajärvi and Repola to the Soviet Union.

During the Finnish Civil War he sided with the Reds, was made prisoner by White troops and shot in Uusikirkko on 3 May 1918.
Isak Wilho Laine was a Finnish carpenter and politician, born in Köyliö. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1907 to 1908 and again from 1910 to 1913, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). During the Finnish Civil War he sided with the Reds, was made prisoner by White troops and shot in Hämeenlinna on 21 May 1918.
Aleksander Väinö Nyström was a Finnish civil servant, bank director and politician, born in Ruovesi. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1909 to 1910, representing the Finnish Party. A few days after the beginning of the Finnish Civil War, being a prominent supporter of the White faction, he was arrested by Red Guards and shot in Pirkkala on 31 January 1918.

He was born in Ylitornio, and was a member of the Diet of Finland from 1894 to 1906 and of the Parliament of Finland from 1907 to 1916 and again from 1917 to 1919. He represented the Young Finnish Party until 1918 and the National Coalition Party from 1918 to 1919.
Johan (Jussi) Vatanen was a Finnish labourer and politician. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1916 to 1918, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). During the Finnish Civil War he sided with the Reds and when the Finnish Socialist Workers' Republic collapsed, he fled to Soviet Russia. On 29 August 1918, he took part in the founding congress of the Communist Party of Finland (SKP) in Moscow. He worked as a party functionary, as a propagandist and as a teacher until 1935, when he retired. He died in 1936 in Kaluga.

In 1918, he served in the Finnish Civil War on the White side as the military chaplain of the 2nd Grenadier Regiment.
