Erwann Binet (born 30 July 1972) is a French politician.
Binet was born in Brest,Finistère. He was first elected to the National Assembly in the 2012 election,and served as the deputy for the eighth circonscription of Isère on the Socialist Party ticket,succeeding Jacques Remiller to the post. He was appointed rapporteur for the Law Commission for the passage of Bill 344. [1] He lost the 2017 election to Caroline Abadie of LREM.

In 1904,the French Ministry of Education asked psychologist Alfred Binet to devise a method that would determine which students did not learn effectively from regular classroom instruction so they could be given remedial work. He lost Lok Sabha elections in 2019 from Tumkuru but has been elected to Rajya Sabha since.

He also worked as the head psychiatrist at Saint-Yon hospital and as a medical director at Perray-Vaucluse. He was also the founder of the first nursing school in psychiatry at the Maison Blanche hospital in Neuilly-sur-Marne,in 1946. The training institute which continues to this day bears his name.
