'eSagu' is a web-based personalized agro-advisory system which uses Information Technology to solve the unscientific agricultural practices. Sagu means cultivation in Telugu-local language of Telangana [1] Andhra Pradesh, the region in which the project started. E-Sagu means electronic cultivation. It exploits the advances in Information Technology to build a cost-effective agricultural information dissemination system to disseminate expert agriculture knowledge to the farming community to improve the crop productivity.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is an Autonomous Scientific Society of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), of the Government of India. The IT@School Project, is an information technology project under the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala in India. The project also conducts specialized training for visually challenged teachers in that state. The project functions on a free software platform. It@school is now transformed into KITE, Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education, a Special Purpose Vehicle Company under Department of Education.

HALRIS is a Visual Basic/Microsoft SQL Server based software system used by the Haryana government for the computerisation of land records in its tehsils. It was developed by National Informatics Centre - Haryana State unit. The project was inaugurated on 1 November 2003 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Ch. Economy of Telangana

The economy of Telangana is mainly supported by agriculture. Two important rivers of India, the Godavari and Krishna, flow through the state, providing irrigation. Farmers in Telangana mainly depend on rain-fed water sources for irrigation. Rice is the major food crop. Other important local crops are cotton, sugar cane, mango and tobacco. Recently, crops used for vegetable oil production, such as sunflower and peanuts, have gained favour.There are many multi-state irrigation projects in development, including Godavari River Basin Irrigation Projects.
