Estadio El Cobre is a multi-use stadium in El Salvador, Chile. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Cobresal. The stadium holds 12,000 people, which is more than the population of the town it is in, and was built in 1980. [2]

The team was founded on 5 May 1979, and the name of the club comes from the local copper mine establishment. Since its inception, the club has played its home games at the El Cobre Stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 12,000, which is more than the entire population of the village (7,000).
