Estadio Resurgimiento is a stadium located in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. It is primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Delfines del Carmen Mexican League baseball club from 2011 through 2016. It has a seating capacity of 8,200 spectators. [1]

After splitting time with the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, and Milwaukee Braves in 1959, his last year of active play (1960) was with the Tigres del México.

The fourteenth edition of the Caribbean Series baseball tournament was played in 1971. It was held from February 6 through February 11 with the champions teams from Dominican Republic, Tigres del Licey; Mexico, Naranjeros de Hermosillo; Puerto Rico, Cangrejeros de Santurce, and Venezuela, Tiburones de La Guaira. The format consisted of 12 games, each team facing the other teams twice, and the games were played at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which boosted its capacity to 18,000 seats. The Generales de Durango are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League (LMB) that was established in November 2016. The team is based in Durango, the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of Durango. They entered the league in 2017 as a replacement for the departed Delfines del Carmen.
