Ethan Brosh is an American rock guitarist from Boston, Massachusetts. He is best known for his solo work and for his work as the lead guitarist in the band Burning Heat.
Growing up in Israel, at a very young age Brosh took piano lessons briefly after being inspired by classical music and classical composer Bach. He later became intrigued by hearing his brother's cassette tape of Iron Maiden album Number of the Beast at the age of 11 and picked up classical and electric guitar at age 12. [1]
Brosh moved to the United States in 2001 where he became a student at the Berklee College of Music. [1] He graduated with honors in 2004 and then returned as a part-time teacher in 2008 till present. [2] [3]
Brosh was signed to Magna Carta Records which released his debut instrumental album Out of Oblivion and distributed it worldwide on March 24, 2009. The album features Mike Mangini (Dream Theater, Extreme, Steve Vai) on drums and guest appearances by George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Greg Howe (Michael Jackson) and Joe Stump (Holy Hell). [1] The album was mixed and mastered by Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen). The album artwork was created by Derek Riggs the long time artist of Iron Maiden. [4] [5]
Additionally, he was the guitar player of the band Angels of Babylon along with Rhino (Manowar, Holy Hell) and David Ellefson (Megadeth). The debut album, Kingdom of Evil was released on January 29, 2010, on Metal Heaven Records in Europe, In May 2010 on Hydrant Records in Japan, and on July 29 on BurnHill Union Records in America and the rest of the world. Angels of Babylon was featured in several magazines worldwide as well as having some radio support in different countries. [6]
Brosh is known for his love of vintage 1980s amplifiers and guitars such as the Fender HM Strat, Washburn EC29, BC Rich Gunslinger and ADA MP1 Preamp In more recent years Brosh has been exclusively playing through the ISP Technologies Theta amp in all its different versions. [7]
In June 2012, Brosh released a music video for his song "Downward Spiral" off of his Out of Oblivion album. The song and video feature George Lynch of Dokken and Lynch Mob. [8] [9] On April 24, 2013, Brosh's band started a massive 25 city US/CANADA tour as the direct support of Yngwie Malmsteen [1] with his sister Nili Brosh as second guitarist. [10]
Ethan released his second solo instrumental album on March 4, 2014, through Carmine Appice's Rocker Records. The album was mixed by world class producer Max Norman who came out of retirement for this project after almost 20 years away from the music industry. The album was mastered by mastering engineer Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering in Portland, Maine, and has an appearance by bass player David Ellefson of Megadeth. The album artwork is an original painting done by artist Joe Petagno. [1]
After getting to know Carmine Appice, Brosh joined Carmine and his brother Vinnie Appice as the guitar player of their show Drum Wars. Later on in 2014 a live album called Drum Wars Live! was released with Brosh being the guitar player on it. Also during the years 2014 and 2015 The Ethan Brosh Band went on a couple of tours supporting another one of Brosh's guitar heroes in Jake E. Lee with his new band Red Dragon Cartel.
In the summer of 2015 Brosh played guitar in one of his favorite bands Steelheart as they performed at the Pentaport rock festival in South Korea opening for the Scorpions. Brosh provided guitar tracks on Stryper front man Michael Sweet's 2016 solo album One Sided War . Two Michael Sweet music videos featuring Brosh were made: one for the song "Bizarre" and the other for the song "Creator".
In 2017, the Ethan Brosh Band got back on the road for more tour dates as the direct support act for guitar player Uli Jon Roth.
In February 2018, Ethan released his third studio instrumental album, Conspiracy, again featuring Max Norman (mixing engineer), mastered by Brad Blackwood, and artwork by Derek Riggs. It also features a guest appearance by Steel Panther guitarist Satchel on the song "Tomb of the Gods", which is also the first video from the album. The guest solo by Satchel can be heard on the album version. The video was created by Enver Perez.

Dokken is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. The band has had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, such as "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame", and has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The live album Beast from the East was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989.
George Lynch is an American guitarist, best known for his work with the hard rock band Dokken and his post-Dokken solo band Lynch Mob. He is regarded as one of the most renowned and influential rock guitarists of the 1980s, noted for his distinctive playing style and sound.
Chris Poland is an American guitarist, best known as the former guitarist of the thrash metal band Megadeth. Since 2002, Poland has been the guitarist of the instrumental rock/jazz fusion bands OHM and OHMphrey, among others, and has appeared on several projects and albums from a variety of different genres.
Blue Murder were an English hard rock band led by guitarist-vocalist John Sykes. The group was formed in 1987 following Sykes's dismissal from Whitesnake. The initial line-up was rounded out by bassist Tony Franklin and drummer Carmine Appice. In its nascent stage, vocalist Ray Gillen and drummer Cozy Powell were attached to the project. In 1989, Blue Murder released their self-titled debut album, which cracked the Billboard 200 chart and spawned a minor hit with "Jelly Roll". Nevertheless, the record proved to be a financial disappointment for both the band and their label Geffen Records.
Michael “Mike” Varney is an American record producer and music publisher. He is the founder of the Shrapnel Label Group, which includes Shrapnel Records, Tone Center Records, and Blues Bureau International. He also owns 50% of Magna Carta Records, a New York–based label. Carmine Appice is an American rock drummer. He is best known for his associations with Vanilla Fudge; Cactus; the power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice; Rod Stewart; King Kobra; and Blue Murder. He is also Vinny Appice's older brother. Appice was inducted into the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2014. He is also a more than capable (fretless-) bass player, as can be heard on the "Guitar Zeus" albums, for example.
Alcatrazz is a heavy metal band formed in 1983 by Graham Bonnet, Jimmy Waldo, and Gary Shea. They are best known for their songs "Island in the Sun", "Hiroshima Mon Amour", and "God Blessed Video". They are also notable for featuring a previously-unknown Yngwie Malmsteen as their lead guitarist for a year, who was then replaced by Steve Vai, with whom they recorded one album.
Robert John Daisley is an Australian musician and songwriter. A bassist, he is perhaps best known for his intermittent relationship with vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, for whom he contributed bass, co-production and songwriting throughout the 1980s. Daisley has also worked with prominent rock acts including Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Gary Moore, Chicken Shack and Uriah Heep, among others. Steeler was an early 1980s American heavy metal band formed in 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee by vocalist Ron Keel. The band released its self-titled sole album on Shrapnel Records in 1983. Soon after, Ron dissolved the band to form his band Keel. Steeler is also notable for featuring then-emerging guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, who left to form Alcatrazz shortly after the self-titled album and launch a solo career.

Lynch Mob is an American hard rock band, formed in 1989 by former Dokken guitarist George Lynch, who is the band's only permanent member.
