"Ett herrans liv" (A hell of a life) is also the Swedish language-title for the film Monty Python's Life of Brian and the television series The Vicar of Dibley.

Ett herrans liv is a Swedish TV series that airs on Kanal 5. The hosts are Filip Hammar & Fredrik Wikingsson. On the show, the duo interview Swedish celebrities, many of which they've made fun of on their preceding shows. In the first season, every episode starts with the guest being kidnapped by the hosts.

The show's theme song is I Wish by Skee-Lo.

This Is Your Life is an American reality documentary series broadcast on NBC radio from 1948 to 1952, and on NBC television from 1952 to 1961. It was originally hosted by its creator and producer Ralph Edwards. Stefan Jarl is a Swedish film director best known for his documentaries. Together with Jan Lindqvist he made the Mods Trilogy, three films which follow a group of alienated people in Stockholm from the 1960s to the 1990s, They Call Us Misfits (1968), A Respectable Life (1979) and The Social Heritage (1993). A Respectable Life won the 1979 Guldbagge Awards for Best Film and Best Director. Jarl also wrote and directed Jag är din krigare (1997), and directed Terrorists: The Kids They Sentenced (2003), The Girl From Auschwitz (2005), and Submission (2010), a documentary about the "chemical burden" of synthetics and plastics carried by people born after World War II.

A Respectable Life is a Swedish documentary film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 26 March 1979, directed by Stefan Jarl. The film is the second of the Mods Trilogy by Jarl. At the 15th Guldbagge Awards the film won the awards for Best Film and Best Director. It was also selected as the Swedish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 52nd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

The World of Tosh is an animated series based on the Sune books by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson, and produced by the animation studios Happy Life together with German EM.TV & Merchandising and Irish Magma Films, following Peter Gustafsson purchasing the rights for an animated version of Sune in 1995.

Winnerbäck – Ett slags liv is a 2017 documentary film about Swedish musician Lars Winnerbäck, directed by Øystein Karlsen, marking 20 years of the singer's career. It includes interviews with the subject and concert footage. To get around Winnerbäck's dislike of interviewers and cameras, his wife Agnes Kittelsen was given a camera to record some of the footage, Karlsen stating "I gave a camera to his wife, so that she could film him when he least expected it".

The 2020–21 SHL season was the 46th season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2020 and ended on 3 April 2021, it was then followed by the playoffs and the relegation playoffs. The league consisted of the 14 teams that competed in the 2019–20 season; because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden, no relegation or promotion took place after the previous season. The Växjö Lakers won the regular season for the third time in club history. In the SHL qualifier, Brynäs IF defeated HV71 in five games to stay in the SHL. The Växjö Lakers won the Le Mat Trophy for the third time, defeating Rögle BK by 4 games to 1 in the playoffs final.
