Armand van Helden is an American DJ, record producer, remixer and songwriter from Boston. He is considered one of house music's most revered figures spanning three decades. Van Helden's most well-known singles are "You Don't Know Me", "I Want Your Soul", "My My My" featuring Tara McDonald, as well as "Bonkers" featuring Dizzee Rascal, all of which became #1 on the UK Dance Chart and reached as high as #2 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
"Cruel Summer" is a song recorded by the English girl group Bananarama. It was written by Steve Jolley, Tony Swain and Bananarama and produced by Swain and Jolley. "Self Control" is a song by Italian singer Raf, released in 1984. It was written by Giancarlo Bigazzi, Steve Piccolo and Raf. The song was covered the same year by American singer Laura Branigan. Her version first hit no. 1 in Germany on June 15, 1984. Raf's version first hit no. 1 in Italy on June 23, 1984. "Dirty Dancer" is a song by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and American singer Usher, recorded for Iglesias' sixth studio album, Euphoria, and included on Usher's EP Versus. A remix of the song, which features American rapper Lil Wayne and American singer Nayer, was released on 9 May 2011 by Universal Music Group as the sixth single from Euphoria. Written by the two singers with Evan Bogart, Erika Nuri and David Quiñones and producer RedOne, "Dirty Dancer" is a dance-pop song.
"Euphoria" is a song performed by Swedish recording artist and songwriter Loreen. It was released on 26 February 2015 as the third single from her debut studio album Heal (2015). The song was written by Thomas G:son, Peter Boström and produced by Boström and SeventyEight. It is best known as Sweden's winning entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The song won the competition with a total of 372 points, the then second-highest point total in the contest's history. The song received the highest number of maximum (12) points of any entry in the contest's history with eighteen countries giving the song their top marks.

The Perry Twins is an American DJ and producer duo consisting of brothers Doug and Derek Perry. Their debut single "Bad, Bad Boy" peaked at number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
"Stand Up" is a single written and originally recorded in 1996 by the American house music studio group Love Tribe, featuring American Dance songstress Latanza Waters. The original version, notable for using the keyboard sampling from Machine's 1979 Disco classic "There but for the Grace of God Go I," became their only number one chart-topper on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, reaching that summit on August 31, 1996 for a one-week stay, as well as a number 89 placement on the Hot 100 Chart in January 1997. It reached #23 in the UK Singles Chart in July that same year.
Harper Starling is a singer and songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her song "Euphoria" with The Perry Twins peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
In 2018, the American House/Remix duo Dirty Werk released an electro dance version of "Stand Up", the song is largely a cover of Love Tribe's 1996 hit "Stand Up". The song became their first number one on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, reaching the summit in its September 22, 2018 issue.
