Euro Super Series

The Euro Super Series is a curling tournament held annually in August at the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland. The event, which is put on by British Curling was first held in 2021 in a bid to "launch a new era of high class competition (in Europe)". [1] Since 2022, the men's and women's events are held a week apart. The purse for both the men's and women's events is £20,000, with the winners receiving £6,000.

The inaugural event saw team "GB Red" skipped by Rebecca Morrison defeat Sweden's Isabella Wranå in the women's final. British Curling decided to split their nine player team into two squads for the event (red and blue) in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics. In the men's final, Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller defeated Scotland's Ross Whyte. [2]

At the 2022 event, Germany's Daniela Jentsch defeated Norway's Team Rørvik, which was skipped by Maia Ramsfjell with the absence of regular skip Marianne Rørvik. [3] In the men's event, Team Italy, skipped by Joël Retornaz downed the Korey Dropkin rink from the United States. [4]

The 2023 event saw the return of Olympic champion Eve Muirhead who came out of retirement to spare for the Michèle Jäggi rink. [5] The defending World Champion Bruce Mouat rink won the men's event on home ice, defeating their compatriots, the Ross Whyte rink in the final on the same weekend as Mouat's 29th birthday. [6] The women's event was won by Delaney Strouse of the United States, who beat Italy's Stefania Constantini in the final. [7]

The 2021 Euro Super Series was a curling event among various countries of Europe. It was held from 31 August to 5 September at the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland. It was the first international competition hosted by the club, which serves as the home club for the top British curlers. The total purse for the event was £6,000 on both the men's and women's sides.

The 2022 Euro Super Series was a curling event among various countries of Europe. It held from 18 to 28 August at the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland. The women's event ran from 18 to 21 August and the men's event went from 25 to 28 August. The total purse for the event was £ 20,000 on both the men's and women's sides.

The 2023 Euro Super Series is a curling event among various countries of Europe. It was held from 17 to 27 August at the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland. The women's event ran from 17 to 20 August with the men's event running from 24 to 27 August. The total purse for the event is £ 20,000 on both the men's and women's sides.

The 2023 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard was held from September 7 to 10 at the Oakville Curling Club in Oakville, Ontario. The event was held in a round robin format with a purse of $30,000 on both the men's and women's sides. It was the first Stu Sells sponsored event held as part of the 2023–24 season.
