Eva Padberg (born 27 January 1980) is a German fashion model, singer, and actress.
Padberg was born in Bad Frankenhausen on 27 January 1980 and grew up in Rottleben, which were both part of East Germany until German reunification, which occurred between November 1989 and March 1991. In 1995, she applied for Bravo's Boy & Girl contest; made it among the best ten models and gained the opportunity to do a test shooting for Louisa Models in Munich. In 1998, after having finished her Abitur, she started her professional modelling career. Eva worked in Paris, Tokyo, and New York City, e.g. for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein and walked for different Prêt-à-Porter shows.
Besides the catwalk and the photo shootings, she became a frequently sought model for commercials and advertising campaigns: Since 2003, she has been the face of the world-renown make-up-brand Astor. In May 2005, she appeared in the TV commercial of the candy brand "Gletscher Eis" and in September of the same year she became not only the new face of the Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors, but also the new cover top-model of the mail order company Otto and campaign model for Nintendo's Nintendogs . Since May 2006, she has been promoting the new drink "König Pilsener Lemon" of the brand König Pilsener.
In May 2004, Padberg was photographed for the German Playboy by Ellen von Unwerth. In 2005, she was voted "Sexiest Woman of the World" by the readers of FHM and became cover model of the magazine GQ in 2006.
She is also a singer and songwriter of Dapayk & Padberg, [1] a well-known electronic club act. Together with her husband Niklas Worgt, also known as Dapayk, she released various singles followed by their first album Close Up on Mo's Ferry Prod. in September 2005.
In 2005, she started acting and had minor roles in her debut Maria an Callas (2006) and the film adaptation of the video game In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007). She also worked in the jury of Germany's Star Search and, in 2006, as a presenter for the Bambi award of Hubert Burda Media together with talk show host Harald Schmidt.
On 29 July 2006, after a relationship of ten years, she married the music producer Niklas Worgt. Padberg is active for numerous charitable projects such as SOS Children's Villages. She has also served as an ambassador for UNICEF. [1] Since May 2007, Eva has also represented Mercedes-Benz as a brand ambassador at international fashion and lifestyle events, including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin [2] and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico. In June 2010, she began collaborating with German Fairtrade fashion label armedangels together with Niklas Worgt. Their own t-shirt "Two Hearts – One Rhythm" is sold online. [4]

The Bambi, often called the Bambi Award and stylised as BAMBI, is a German award presented annually by Hubert Burda Media to recognize excellence in international media and television to personalities in the media, arts, culture, sports, and other fields "with vision and creativity who affected and inspired the German public that year", both domestic and foreign. The trophy is named after Felix Salten's book Bambi, A Life in the Woods and its statuettes are in the shape of the novel's titular fawn character. The F-Cell is a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle developed by Daimler AG. Two different versions are known - the previous version was based on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, and the new model is based on the Mercedes-Benz B-Class. The first generation F-Cell was introduced in 2002, and had a range of 100 mi (161 km), with a top speed of 82 mph (132 km/h). The current B-Class F-CELL has a more powerful electric motor rated at 100 kW (134 hp), and a range of about 250 mi (402 km). This improvement in range is due in part to the B-Class's greater space for holding tanks of compressed hydrogen, higher storage pressure, as well as fuel cell technology advances. Both cars have made use of a "sandwich" design concept, aimed at maximizing room for both passengers and the propulsion components. The fuel cell is a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC), designed by the Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation (AFCC) Corporation.
Carlsson was a German car tuning manufacturer specialising in Mercedes-Benz cars. The Carlsson tuning house was founded by brothers Rolf and Andreas Hartge in 1989. Carlsson's products were available for the entire current range of Mercedes-Benz models including the R-Class, SL-Class, C-Class and the GL-Class along with many others. Armedangels is a fashion label in Cologne, Germany that sells sustainable fashion products, mainly for a LOHAS demographic. According to the company, they are attempting to change the perception of Eco-friendly clothing from being "hippy like" and not fashionable to it being perceived as 'hip', 'chic' streetwear. Furthermore, Armedangels aims to make a social statement about fashion and works exclusively with socially responsible companies that are certified being fair trade. The main goal of their community is to raise awareness about the fashion industry and what they perceive injustices that arises as a result. One writer referred to Armedangels as being "eco warriors in the process of saving the world", who contribute alongside like-minded people including celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore.
Michael Michalsky is a German fashion designer. He is the founder and head designer of the fashion label Michalsky. He is also the creative director of the luxury handbag manufacturer MCM since 2005. Besides his fashion business, Michalsky runs the agency Michalsky DesignLab, which offers design services. Today, Michalsky is considered one of Germany's most influential designers.
