Evan Frankfort (born December 13, 1970) is an American television music producer. He has composed music for several shows and films including Rules of Engagement , Swingtown , In Plain Sight , and 90210 . He has also contributed to over 100 records, working with artists including Plain White T's, Liz Phair, Rancid, Flock of Seagulls, The Dollyrots, and many more. [1]

Evan met Liz Phair while both were in the studio working on TV shows, and became one of her scoring partners, on projects such as Swingtown , In Plain Sight and 90210 , as well as Phair's album Funstyle . [2] Both alongside Marc 'Doc' Dauer have been scoring In Plain Sight since its third season. [3]

In 1996, Evan won a Daytime Emmy Award for his musical contributions to Guiding Light , under the name Christopher Jay. [10] [11]

Somebody's Miracle is the fifth album by Liz Phair, released on October 4, 2005 on Capitol Records. From September 2004 through April 2005, she composed fourteen tracks spanning from lo-fi guitar-driven to high-gloss produced tracks. Much like her debut album, Exile in Guyville, Somebody's Miracle was originally modeled after another canonical album, Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder, though only elements of this exist in the final product. In Plain Sight is an American drama television series that premiered on the USA Network on June 1, 2008. The series revolves around Mary Shannon, a Deputy United States Marshal attached to the Albuquerque, New Mexico, office of the Federal Witness Security Program (WITSEC), more commonly known as the Federal Witness Protection Program. Shannon must find ways to balance her professional life of protecting witnesses, her professional relationship with her work partner, US Marshal Marshall Mann, and her problematic personal life.
