Les Friction is an independent music group led by Helmut Vonlichten, Nihl Finch aka Evan Frankfort, and a singer named Paint. Helmut had previously collaborated with his brother Franz Vonlichten in their cinematic music project E.S. Posthumus until Franz's death in May 2010. Les Friction was announced in November 2011, and their self-titled debut album was released the following January.

The album's first single "Torture" was released as a digital download on November 26, 2011, the second single "Louder than Words" was released on December 27, 2011, while the final single "Here Comes the Reign" was released on January 21, 2012, prior to the album's release date of January 24, 2012. [2]
Instrumental tracks were made available through iTunes, Amazon, and CDBaby MP3 album downloads.
Portions of "Louder than Words" have been used in a trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 , Oz the Great and Powerful , and has also been played over the loudspeakers during the 2012 Rose Bowl.

My Bloody Valentine are an Irish-English rock band formed in Dublin in 1983 and consisting since 1987 of founding members Kevin Shields and Colm Ó Cíosóig, with Bilinda Butcher and Debbie Googe (bass). E.S. Posthumus was an independent music group that produced a form of 21st-century classical music/epic music that intertwined popular style drum rhythms with orchestral and electronic sounds. Their music is inspired by the Pythagorean philosophy which states that "music is the harmonization of opposites; the conciliation of warring elements". The E.S. is an acronym for "Experimental Sounds" while Posthumus is a word that is meant to represent "all things past", suggesting the music was inspired by things that have ended, some time after they ended.
Curve were an English alternative rock and electronic music duo from London, formed in 1990 and split in 2005. The band consisted of Toni Halliday and Dean Garcia. Halliday wrote the lyrics of their songs and they both contributed to songwriting. Producer Alan Moulder was a prominent collaborator who helped shape their blend of heavy beats and densely–layered guitar tracks set against Halliday's vocals.
Sha Sha is the debut album by American indie rock singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and former Radish member Ben Kweller. In 2020, he also reformed with the original "Memphis lineup" of Reigning Sound is once again playing shows with the outfit's first incarnation. In a June 8, 2022, message on the group's Facebook page, Cartwright formally announced the end of Reigning Sound.

The delay from the original release date can only so far be attributed to the Vonlichten brothers' ill-concern with deadlines, although it is rumored the delay in release was due to the addition of Sans to the group of musicians, an addition much heralded by Helmut Vonlichten
Julia Shammas Holter is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, composer, artist and academic, based in Los Angeles. Following three independent album productions, Holter released Tragedy as her first official studio album in 2011. Ekstasis followed in 2012. After signing with Domino Records in 2013, she released the albums Loud City Song (2013), Have You in My Wilderness (2015) and the live-in-the-studio album In the Same Room (2017). Most recently, her double album Aviary was released in 2018.
Evan Frankfort is an American television music producer. He has composed music for several shows and films including Rules of Engagement, Swingtown, In Plain Sight, and 90210. He has also contributed to over 100 records, working with artists including Plain White T's, Liz Phair, Rancid, Flock of Seagulls, The Dollyrots, and many more.

The ceremony recognized the accomplishments of musicians and other figures within the Christian music industry for the year 2011. The ceremony was produced by the Gospel Music Association and was hosted by actor David Mann and comedian Chonda Pierce. The awards show was broadcast on the Gospel Music Channel on April 24, 2012.

It was released as her second single from her scrapped debut album Sutta Pop, via Citrusonic Records. The song was written by Sutta, Golden, Alana Da Fonseca and Cameron Nacson and produced by Golden. It was released on March 26, 2013. The track comes after the release of Sutta's number 1 dance single "Show Me" (2011). The extended version and remixes of "Again" was released on May 28, 2013. The song was a successful hit on the Dance Club Songs chart, peaked at #4.
