Evan Milward (born December 22, 1984) is a Canadian former soccer player who played in the Canadian Soccer League and the USL First Division.
Milward began playing soccer at the college level for the Toronto Varsity Blues, and was named to the 2nd All-Canadian team in 2006. [1] [2] During his tenure at Toronto he completed a degree in Fine Art and History. In 2006, he began his professional career by signing with Italia Shooters of the Canadian Soccer League. He made his debut for the club on May 19, 2006 in a match against Serbian White Eagles. [3] For the 2007 season he was transferred to division rivals the Canadian Lions, where he registered 15 goals making him the club's leading scorer. [4] [5] He helped the Scarborough side clinch a postseason berth by finishing fourth in the International Division. He was also selected for the CSL All Star match and played with the International Division All-Star team. [6]
After unsuccessful trial with Swansea City F.C. he went abroad to the United States to sign with the Rochester Rhinos of the USL First Division. [7] [8] [9] During his tenure with Rochester he played in 13 matches. [10] In 2008, he returned to the CSL to sign with the Serbian White Eagles and made his debut on May 22, 2009 against Portugal FC. [11]

SC Toronto was a Canadian soccer team, founded in 1994. The team was a member of the Canadian Soccer League, and played its final home games at Lamport Stadium in the city of Toronto, Ontario. The club found success early on since its inception as the Toronto Supra in the Canadian National Soccer League, making the postseason in 1996, and the championship finals in 1997. With the creation of the Canadian Professional Soccer League in 1998, Toronto missed out in registering for the league which resulted in the club completing in local amateur leagues. Supra would eventually return to the professional level in 2001, entering the CPSL as an expansion franchise.
Trois-Rivières Attak was a Canadian soccer team that played three seasons in the Canadian Soccer League. They formally served as a reserve and academy team for the USL First Division side Montreal Impact. The club was an instant success within the league, winning titles in all three seasons when it competed in the CSL. In 2010, when the Montreal Impact founded their own academy the team ceased operating as a farm team, because of the ended cooperation with the Impact; they announced that they would take a one-year absence from the Canadian Soccer League in 2010 and return for the 2011 season. The team did not return for the 2011 season.

The 2007 Canadian Soccer League season was the tenth since its establishment. The first match of the season was played on May 11, 2007, and ended on October 28, 2007. The season concluded with Toronto Croatia claiming their third championship by defeating rivals Serbian White Eagles 4-1 on aggregate making Croatia one of the most successful clubs in the history of the CSL & Canadian soccer. Toronto Croatia also celebrated its 50-year anniversary in Canadian soccer by winning the CSL title after losing just one game in the 5-month long campaign, including an unbeaten streak in their international triumph of the Croatian World Club Championship. During the regular season the Serbian White Eagles secured their second consecutive International Division title, while St. Catharines Wolves won their first National Division title.
The 2008 Canadian Soccer League season was the 11th since its establishment where a total of 16 teams from Ontario and Quebec took part in the league. The season began on May 16, 2008, and ended on October 26 with the Serbian White Eagles claiming their first championship by defeating Trois-Rivières Attak 2-1 in a penalty shootout. This was the third consecutive year the White Eagles had reached the CSL finals losing respectively to Italia Shooters in 2006, and to rivals Toronto Croatia in 2007. While during the regular season Italia won their second division title with Trois-Rivières becoming the first Quebec team to claim the National Division title.
