The Protestant missions started in the 19th century in Morocco. In 1975 the Scottish origin Southern Morocco Mission was started. In 1922 the Reformed Church in France begun mission efforts especially among French. After the independence from France in 1956 the Reformed Church in France decided to form an independent church in 1958. This become the Evangelical Church in Morocco or the Egliese Evangelique au Maroc in French. Since 1963 missions were prohibited. [1]

In 2004 the church had 1,600 members worshipping in 8 congregations and 6 house fellowships. [2] [3]

It is member of the World Communion of Reformed Churches. [4]

After the departure of the German missionaries, the church sought to maintain its unity, and in 1922 the Evangelical Ewe Church was established, uniting the francophone and anglophone churches. The French-speaking church was established by the Paris Foreign Missions Society.

The Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa is one of the oldest Protestant churches in Africa, established in 1833 by the Paris Evangelical Missionary Society. They received the support of the local king, and under its protection the church developed. The first mission station was in Morija. In 1868 Lesotho became a British protectorate. In 1898 a Synod was opened, while in 1964 the church gained independence.

The Protestant Church in Indonesia is a Reformed church; it is a member of World Communion of Reformed Churches.

The Rheinische Missiongesellschaft zu Bremen (RMG) started missions in Kalimantan, now known as Borneo, in 1838 among Dayak Ngaju and Maanyan tribes. The work was almost destroyed because of a riot against the Dutch rule. The development was slow. In 1901, there were only 2,000 Christians. After World War I, the Rheinische Mission had to hand over the work to the Basel Mission.

Evangelical Christian Church of the Land of Papua is a Protestant denomination in Indonesia, particularly in western Papua region.

The Maohi Protestant Church is a Reformed church in French Polynesia.

The Evangelical Community in Congo was established by Swedish missionaries, the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden, in 1881. The center of their activities was in Lower Congo, where British and American Baptist had already established mission points. The Svenska Missionsförbundet and the Baptists shared the beliefs of credobaptism. The church become independent and it shares a theological seminary in Kinshasa. The first year of the new denomination was marked by a revival of Pentecostal movement, but later it became more conscious of their Reformed heritage. It is a member of the World Council of Churches and the World Communion of Reformed Churches.

The Calvary Reformed Church was founded in 1993 by pastor Nelson Owudo. There are 3 congregations in Kampala, Uganda. The church does not ordain women. The church adheres to the Apostles Creed and the Westminster Confession and Westminster Larger Catechism. Church government is Presbyterian.

The Evangelisch-reformierte Kirche Basel-Stadt is a Reformed denomination in the canton of Basel-Stadt. In 2004 it had 51,000 members in six German parishes with 3 German speaking congregations, one Italian, one French Reformed congregation and 49 ordained clergy. Member of the Schweizerischer Evangelischer Kirchenbund and the Conference of Churches on the Rhine.

The Reformed Church of Aargau or Reformierte Landeskirche des Kantons Aargau is a Reformed state cantonal church in Aargau, Switzerland. It was founded in 1803, and according to the 2004 statistics the Aargau Reformed Church had 76 Presbyteries and 1 Synod with almost 200,000 members and 76 parishes and 107 ordained clergy. The official language is German. Member of the Schweizerischer Evangelischer Kirchenbund. Women ordination is allowed. Blessing of same-sex unions were allowed and on September 18, 2019 blessing of same-sex marriages were allowed.

The Evangelical-Reformed Church of the Canton Basel-Landschaft is a Reformed cantonal church in the canton of Basel-Land, which does not include the eponymous city. In 2004 it had 113,537 members and 35 parishes and 65 ordained clergy. Member of the Schweizerischer Evangelischer Kirchenbund. Women ordination is allowed.

The Evangelical Free Church of Geneva is a Reformed free church in Geneva. The church has 6 congregations in Onex, Versoix, Buix, Rive Droite, Carouge, l'Oratoire with a combined membership of 1,000.

The Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton Freiburg is a cantonal Reformed state church in Fribourg. In 2004 it had 16 parishes and 38,000 members, served by 35 ministers. It was officially organised in 1530, the official languages are French and German. From the parishes 3 are dual languages, 5 are French and 8 are German language worship.

The Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Schaffhausen is a Reformed state church in Schaffhausen. In 2004 it had 36,000 members and 30 congregations, served by 40 pastors. The church was formed in 1529. It is a member of the Federation of Swiss Protestant Churches and the Conference of Churches on the Rhine.
