A light-sport aircraft (LSA), or light sport aircraft, is a fairly new category of small, lightweight aircraft that are simple to fly. LSAs tend to be heavier and more sophisticated than ultralight aircraft, but LSA restrictions on weight and performance separates the category from established GA aircraft. There is no standard worldwide description of an LSA.
Aircraft Industries, a.s., operating as Let, is a Czech civil aircraft manufacturer. Its most successful design has been the L-410 Turbolet, of which more than 1300 units have been built. Its head office is in Kunovice, Zlín Region. Let was owned by the Russian company UGMK from 2008 to 2022, when it was acquired by Czech-based Omnipol Group.

Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.p.A., commonly known as simply Tecnam, is an Italian aircraft manufacturer. The company has two primary activities: producing aircraft components for various other manufacturers, and manufacturing its own range of light aircraft. The company was founded in 1986 by Italian brothers Luigi Pascale and Giovanni Pascale, veteran aircraft designers and manufacturers. Prior to creating Tecnam, they had been responsible for several other aviation-related projects, including the design and construction of the twin-engine Partenavia P.68. Their original intent in founding Tecnam was to build aerospace parts on behalf of other manufacturers, which initially included American aerospace company Boeing and commuter airliner specialist ATR. When the light-sport aircraft market began to emerge, the brothers entered the field, first with the Tecnam P92, which was well received.
Kunovice Airport is an airport located about 5 km (3 mi) from Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic in the town of Kunovice. The airport is home to three aircraft manufacturers: Czech Sport Aircraft, Evektor-Aerotechnik and Let Kunovice. There are currently no scheduled flights operating to the airport.

Aircraft Industries L 410 NG is a twin-engine 19-seat aircraft manufactured by the Czech company, Aircraft Industries. The aircraft is an upgraded version of the Let L 410 UVP-E20. The first flight took place on 29 July 2015. Serial production of the L 410 NG began in March 2018.
