The keel was laid in March 2007 at Odense Steel Shipyard. She is 396 metres (1,299 ft) long with a beam of 56 metres (184 ft) and a depth of 30 metres (98 ft). Evelyn Maersk is powered by a Wärtsilä RT-flex96C diesel electric engine capable of producing 109,998 hp (82,025 kW) with a single fixed pitch propeller and capable of reaching a top speed of 24.5 knots (45.4 km/h; 28.2 mph). Evelyn Maersk uses one of the most efficient power plants, using its exhaust heat for boilers and purifying its fuel. Even though the power plants are efficient, Evelyn Mearsk and her sisters have come under scrutiny for burning heavy fuel oil, a black oil that gives off high amounts of sulfur and other pollutants. Although by Ton transporting freight by cargo ship is the least pollutant option, Evelyn Maersk gives off ten tons of nitrogen oxide per day of running. [4]
In Autumn of 2010 Evelyn Maersk restocked Britain and Europe's toy stores with the years best selling toy (Jet Pack Buzz Lightyear). The ship docked in Felixstowe, Suffolk, with a million toys, boardgames, and puzzles brought over from China. [5]
In August 2014 the container vessel participated into the search and rescue operation for sinking fishing boat with 352 immigrants in Mediterranean Sea off Sicily. After more than 10 hours of searching Evelyn Maersk found the disabled and sinking fishing boat with list of 30 degrees. On board there were 352 immigrants (including 41 children in bad condition) from Syria and the Horn of Africa region. All of them were transported by Evelyn Maersk to Sicily, where they were hospitalized.

Nivôse is a Floréal-class frigate of the French Navy. The frigate is the third ship of the class and the fourth French vessel named after the fourth month of the Republican Calendar. Nivôse was constructed by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire, France, in 1991 and entered service in 1992. The frigate is stationed at Réunion in the Indian Ocean for patrol duties.

Emma Mærsk is the first container ship in the E class of eight owned by A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. When launched in 2006, she was the largest container ship ever built, and in 2010, she and her seven sister ships were among the longest container ships. Officially, she is able to carry around 11,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) or 14,770 TEU, depending on definition. In May 2010, her sister ship Ebba Mærsk set a record of 15,011 TEU in Tanger-Med, Tangier.

Eleonora Mærsk is one of the world's largest container ships operated by A. P. Moller and registered to Svendborg, Denmark. It was constructed in 2006 at the Odense Steel Shipyard. There are seven other identical sister ships in the A. P. Moller fleet. Eleonora Mærsk and the other seven ships of the E class are among the biggest ever built.

MOL Comfort was a 2008-built Bahamian-flagged post-Panamax container ship chartered by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. The vessel was launched in 2008 as APL Russia and sailed under that name until 2012, when the ship was renamed to MOL Comfort. On 17 June 2013, she broke in two about 200 nautical miles off the coast of Yemen. The aft section sank on 27 June and the bow section, after being destroyed by fire, on 11 July. Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller is the first ship of Maersk Line's Triple E class of container vessels. At the time of its entry into service in 2013, it had the largest cargo capacity in twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) of any vessel, and was the longest container ship in service worldwide. Constructed for Maersk by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) of South Korea, it was launched in February 2013 and began operational service during July 2013. It was named for Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller, the CEO of Maersk from 1965 to 1993. The ship is the first of a class of 20 identical vessels.
Maersk Honam was a container ship operated by Maersk Line. The vessel caught fire on 6 March 2018 while sailing in the Arabian Sea. Five members of the crew of 27 were killed, including one rescued crew member who died later from injuries.
