Anna Vissi is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens.
Nikos Karvelas is a Greek musician, composer, singer, songwriter, record producer and author. He has sold millions of records as a producer and is most recognizable for his three-decade-long collaboration with Anna Vissi, while some of his other well-known collaborations include Tolis Voskopoulos and Sakis Rouvas. Karvelas has released multiple personal studio albums that have had mild to big success. In 2012, Alpha TV ranked Karvelas as the 13th top-certified composer in Greece in the phonographic era.
Greece participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, which was held in Athens, Greece following the nation's win at the previous year's contest. Everything I Am is the title of the debut English-language album by Cypriot singer Anna Vissi. It was created under Vissi's affiliation with Sony Music Entertainment international who granted her collaboration with successful American songwriters and producers. However, the album was never officially released in the United States after Sony Music Entertainment decided to withdraw from supporting Vissi's global career expansion. The album was subsequently first released in Greece and Cyprus on October 24, 2000, by Columbia Records. This album, along with Greek-language and commercially successful album Kravgi released the same year, showcased a significant change over Vissi's stylistic and musical selections, expanding her image as a pop icon and contemporary artist as promoted in the mid-1990s and onwards. The album was certified gold in Greece, and platinum in Cyprus.

The album was released in 1982 by the short-lived record label Vissi and Nikos Karvelas formed for the release known as CarVi, whose name was a combination of their last names.
Na 'hes Kardia is the sixth album by Greek singer Anna Vissi. Released in 1984, it was her first album under CBS Greece. It featured 12 laika songs, all written by then-husband Nikos Karvelas. Lyricists of the album were Karvelas, Vissi herself and Sarantis Alivizatos. The ballad "Kai Eho Tosa Na Thimame" is considered the most durable hit off the album, still gaining airplay in Greek radio stations and being a standard of most of Vissi's shows. It is the most acoustic album Vissi has released up to date. It was repackaged in 1995 to include the songs "Amin", "Eleni" and a remix of "Eimai Poli Kala". Music and lyrics are by Nikos Karvelas and Evi Droutsa.
