Everything Is My Family is the third studio album from the multi-national based band Crystal Fighters, released on 21 October 2016 via Zirkulo & Play It Again Sam records. As with the band's previous albums, Everything Is My Family includes songs inspired by Spanish, Basque folk music but also takes influence from a range of genres. The band said in a September, 2016 interview to expect, more dance floor, more psychedelia, more tropical, more rave. [1] In advance of the album's release, Crystal Fighters released three singles. ‘All Night’, [2] ‘Good Girls’ [3] and 'Lay Low’. [4]
The album was recorded around the world. The band began writing whilst traveling and touring through Costa Rica, South Africa, North America, England and Spain. [1]
The album cover and all single artwork is the creation of U.S based artist, Isabel Bryna.
In June 2016, the band announced that they planned to release an album later in the year. On 17 August 2016, the band released the first single, ‘All Night’ [5] from the then upcoming album which was premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. [6] The band then toured throughout the summer of 2016 and on 29 September, they announced the official release date of the album ‘Everything Is My Family’ which was to be 21 October 2016. [7] In conjunction with the album announce, the band also released a new track, ‘Way’s I Can’t Tell’ which was first heard by the public on radio presenter and DJ, Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. [8] The second official single however was a song called, ‘Good Girls’ which went on to become radio presenter, Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record of the Week’. [9] On 18 October, a third single was released. ‘Lay Low’ is the last track on the album and has been dedicated to the band's late drummer Andrea Marongiu. [10]

Annie Macmanus, known professionally as Annie Mac, is an Irish DJ, broadcaster and writer. She hosted a variety of shows on BBC Radio 1, including BBC Switch and Future Sounds. She also DJed in various locations, including hosting her AMP Lost and Found venues in places like Ibiza.

Young Guns are an English alternative rock band from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The members, working with each other in various musical interests throughout the 2000s, formally formed the band in 2008, and rose to prominence after their debut EP, Mirrors, earned them spots opening live shows for Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses. Their debut album, All Our Kings Are Dead, on 12 July 2010. Their second album, Bones, was released in February 2012. Their single "Bones" reached no. 1 on the Billboard Active Rock charts in the US in May 2013. Their third album, Ones and Zeros, was released on 9 June 2015. The album combines genres from Basque folk to straight electronic and dubstep. Two special releases followed in 2011: an Australian limited edition, which included a bonus disc of acoustic remixes, and a worldwide deluxe edition, which included the acoustic tracks and an additional track.

Music Is the Weapon is the fourth studio album by American electronic band Major Lazer, released on October 23, 2020, via Mad Decent. It is Major lazer's 1st album in five years since Peace Is the Mission (2015). First announced in 2015, many conflicting statements have been made about the album, with the latest reports being that it will be the final Major Lazer album. It was later announced in 2019 that the album would instead be titled Lazerism, but the name was later changed back to the original title. It is the first album to be released after Jillionaire left the group and was replaced by Ape Drums.
