Evil Redux is the fifth album from the Swedish heavy metal band Syron Vanes, released in 2013. It was produced by Anders Hahne.
The album was recorded in Anders Hahne's studio between January 2012-February 2013. The work method was to write a song and then record it accordingly. This way of working did let us focus on one song at a time and it really helped each song on the album to shine. One important thing was the use of analog equipment before the signal was digitized. This according to Anders Hahne did make the sound very listenable.
All the songs were mixed and mastered in February 2013.
The final release medium was on CD and also digital files for digital download.
Evil Redux was a statement to get back to the classic Heavy Metal style Syron Vanes are known for. In 2011, Rimbert and Anders discussed how to make the best album in their careers to date and the conclusion was that they have to get back to their roots with classic Heavy Metal. A record with classic songs combined with a thunderous sound was the idea. 16 songs were written and 14 made it to the album. Evil Redux is also the first album Syron Vanes used drop tuning exclusively on the guitars to get a heavier sound. This is also the first time the new drummer Mats Bergentz (Silver Mountain/Mister Kite) appear on a Syron Vanes album.
The album begins with the instrumental piece "Overture" backed up by excerpts from the famous [4] D-Day speech by Franklin D Roosevelt. This was used to connect the album to a war theme. The concept of the album is war and the song "End of The World" mirrors this in its video.
Evil Redux was released on March 13, 2013. The first song revealed was "Race Me To Hell". [5] This song were filmed on video by Tommy Ledberg for the television show "Nitroz Burnout" on Swedish TV4. The second song revealed was "End of The World". [6] A video was also made for this song.

Syron Vanes
Master of Puppets is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on March 3, 1986, by Elektra Records. Recorded in Denmark at Sweet Silence Studios with producer Flemming Rasmussen, it was the band's last album to feature bassist Cliff Burton, who died in a bus accident in Sweden during the album's promotional tour.
Among the Living is the third studio album by American thrash metal band, Anthrax. It was released on March 22, 1987 by Megaforce Worldwide/Island, and was certified gold by the RIAA on July 31, 1990. The BBC has described the album as "arguably their big breakthrough", and "often cited by fans as their favorite Anthrax album". Drummer and principal songwriter Charlie Benante has referred to Among the Living as Anthrax's "signature album". Bonded by Blood is the debut studio album by the Bay Area thrash metal band Exodus. Metal Heart is the sixth studio album by German heavy metal band Accept, released in 1985. Although the group had recorded before at Dierks-Studios, this was the first album produced by Dieter Dierks himself. It marked the return of guitarist Jörg Fischer after a two year absence, with Herman Frank having been his replacement. This album was a cautious attempt to crack the lucrative American market with more accessible songcraft and emphasis on hooks and melodies. Although critically panned at the time, today Metal Heart is often considered by fans as one of the band's best records. It contains several of their classic songs such as "Metal Heart" and "Living for Tonite". The band also makes a detour into jazz metal territory with the unusual song "Teach Us to Survive".

Revertigo is a Swedish rock duo consisting of singer Mats Levén, who is known for his work with heavy metal bands such as Candlemass and Therion, and Treat guitarist Anders Wikström. The group was formed in 2016, and they produced a three-song demo tape that led to the band being signed by Frontiers Records. Their debut album was released on 23 February, 2018 through Frontiers.
