Ewa Wasilewska also known as Ewa Borkowska, Ewa Justyna Borkowska [1] or Ewa Borkowska-Wasilewska [2] is a former Polish female speed skater. [3] [4] She competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics and in the 1994 Winter Olympics representing Poland.

At the 1960 Winter Olympics, eight speed skating events were contested in Squaw Valley, California. For the first time in Olympic history, women participated in the Olympic speed skating events after the USOC's proposal to include the women's events was approved by the IOC. Denny Morrison Canadian speed skater

Denny Morrison is a Canadian speedskater from Fort St. John, British Columbia. He is an Olympic champion as a member of Canada's men's team pursuit, an event which he also won silver in at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Morrison won his first individual Olympic medal in Sochi when he won a silver in the men's 1000 m after teammate Gilmore Junio selflessly gave up his spot in order for Morrison, who fell at the national qualification event, failed to originally qualify. He won a second individual medal at those games, a bronze in the 1500 m. With four total Olympic medals, Morrison shares the record for the most medals of any Canadian male long track speed skaters along with Gaétan Boucher.

Denmark sent a delegation to compete at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria from 29 January to 9 February 1964. This was Denmark's fourth time participating in a Winter Olympic Games. The Danish delegation consisted of two athletes, cross-country skier Svend Carlsen and speed skater Kurt Stille. Carlsen placed outside the top 50 in both his events. Stille finished 9th in the men's 10,000 meters, the best performance by a Danish athlete at these Games.

Tatsiana Mikhailava also known as Tatyana Mikhailova is a Belarusian female speed skater. She competed in the women's mass start event during the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Guo Dan is a Chinese female roller skater who is also specialised in speed skating. She took the sport of roller skating at the age of three and has competed at several international competitions as a roller skater. She most notably secured a gold medal in the women's 20000m elimination race during the 2013 World Games which was held in Colombia.
