Ewa Wasilewska also known as Ewa Borkowska, Ewa Justyna Borkowska [1] or Ewa Borkowska-Wasilewska [2] is a former Polish female speed skater. [3] [4] She competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics and in the 1994 Winter Olympics representing Poland.
Speed skating at the 2002 Winter Olympics was held over fourteen days, from 9 to 23 February. Ten events were contested at the Utah Olympic Oval.
At the 1960 Winter Olympics, eight speed skating events were contested in Squaw Valley, California. For the first time in Olympic history, women participated in the Olympic speed skating events after the USOC's proposal to include the women's events was approved by the IOC. The competitions were held from Saturday, February 20, to Tuesday, February 23, 1960 (women), and from Wednesday, February 24, to Saturday, February 27, 1960 (men).
Gianni Petrus Cornelis Romme is a Dutch marathoner and a former long track speed skater. He won two gold medals at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and was the World all-round champion in 2000 and 2003. Romme has been a coach since the 2006–07 speed skating season.
Bob Johannes Carolus de Jong is a Dutch former speed skater who specialized in long distances: five and ten kilometers.
Denny Morrison is a Canadian speedskater from Fort St. John, British Columbia. He is an Olympic champion as a member of Canada's men's team pursuit, an event which he also won silver in at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Morrison won his first individual Olympic medal in Sochi when he won a silver in the men's 1000 m after teammate Gilmore Junio selflessly gave up his spot in order for Morrison, who fell at the national qualification event, failed to originally qualify. He won a second individual medal at those games, a bronze in the 1500 m. With four total Olympic medals, Morrison shares the record for the most medals of any Canadian male long track speed skaters along with Gaétan Boucher.
Denmark sent a delegation to compete at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria from 29 January to 9 February 1964. This was Denmark's fourth time participating in a Winter Olympic Games. The Danish delegation consisted of two athletes, cross-country skier Svend Carlsen and speed skater Kurt Stille. Carlsen placed outside the top 50 in both his events. Stille finished 9th in the men's 10,000 meters, the best performance by a Danish athlete at these Games.
Derek Parra is an American inline skater and speed skater from San Bernardino, California, who graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California, in 1988. Parra won two medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics, held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The nation has been to every Winter Olympics except two, both in the 1960s. The Belgian delegation to Vancouver consisted of eight athletes, competing in four different sports. The delegation did not win any medals, and their best performance in any event was ninth by Pieter Gysel in the short track speed skating 1,500 meters event.

Peggy Ann Clasen is a former American female speed skater. She was primarily a sprint speed skater, and competed at the World Sprint speed skating Championships from 1990 to 1993.

Natalie Grenier is a former Canadian female speed skater. She competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics and 1988 Winter Olympics representing Canada.
Yōko Fukazawa is a former Japanese woman speed skater. She represented Japan in the 1992 Winter Olympics and competed in the women's 500 metres and in the women's 1000 metres. She also went onto participate at the 1990 Asian Winter Games in the speed skating event.

In 2017, he competed in The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland where he won a silver medal in the 10k track points-elimination. At the 2018 Winter Olympics he competed in the 1500 metres, 5000 metres and in the Mass start where he finished fourth.
Tatsiana Mikhailava also known as Tatyana Mikhailova is a Belarusian female speed skater. She competed in the women's mass start event during the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Guo Dan is a Chinese female roller skater who is also specialised in speed skating. She took the sport of roller skating at the age of three and has competed at several international competitions as a roller skater. She most notably secured a gold medal in the women's 20000m elimination race during the 2013 World Games which was held in Colombia.
