Double Allergic is the second studio album by Australian alternative rock band Powderfinger. Released in Australia on 2 September 1996 Polydor, the album was produced by Tim Whitten and widely considered Powderfinger's mainstream breakthrough.

Living Ornaments '81 is a live album recording of a concert on 28 April 1981 by British musician Gary Numan. It was released as a double CD in 1998. The 28 April 1981 show was the third and last of Numan's 'Farewell Concerts' staged at Wembley Arena. The concert was filmed and released on VHS as Micromusic in April 1982; Living Ornaments '81 is essentially an audio release of the video, albeit one released almost 16 years later.
The Margin is a live album by Peter Hammill, documenting early nineteen-eighties concerts by his K Group. Hammill used the alias K, Nic Potter was Mozart, Guy Evans was Brain, and John Ellis was Fury. The album was originally released as a double album on Foundry Records in 1985. It was reissued some years later on CD on Virgin Records in the UK with one track missing in order to make it fit onto a single CD and on Line Records in Germany with two tracks missing. Hammill then reissued it again on his own Fie! record label, as The Margin +. This issue did not restore the track lost from the UK CD edition from the original vinyl release, "The Second Hand", but included an additional disc of material previously released as a live bootleg called The Secret Asteroid Jungle. The liner notes explain that Hammill chose to include a different performance of "The Second Hand".
Johnny Winter is Johnny Winter's second studio album. Columbia Records released the album in 1969, after signing Winter to the label for a reported $600,000. As with his first album, The Progressive Blues Experiment, Winter mixes some original compositions with songs originally recorded by blues artists. The album reached number 24 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
The Living Enz was the first live album released by New Zealand rock band Split Enz. Primarily recorded in Melbourne, Australia during the band's 1984 Enz with a Bang farewell tour, it also includes some material from the Auckland shows of that tour, plus recordings from the band's 1982 Time and Tide tour.

An Icelandic Odyssey is a two-part concept album series by Norwegian avant-garde metal band Solefald. The first part, Red for Fire, was released on 18 October 2005, while the second part, Black for Death, was released on 24 November 2006. The band was quoted as saying "Solefald was experimenting when everybody was being true. Now that things are changing and that we've pushed the experiment quite far already, we wanted Red for Fire plus Black for Death to be our attempts at being 'true'. This will be a true Nordic Viking metal album."

The Rodney Crowell Collection is the title of the first compilation album by American country music artist Rodney Crowell. It was released in 1989 by Crowell's former label, Warner Bros. Records, following the huge success of his album Diamonds & Dirt. It features selections from his first three albums that were released under the Warner Bros. label between 1978 and 1981. It charted #65 on the Top Country Albums chart.

Rob Me Blind is the third studio album of independent singer songwriter Jay Brannan after his albums Goddamned in 2008 and In Living Cover in 2009. The 10-track album on his own independent Great Depression Records was released on 27 March 2012 and was produced by Grammy-winning producer David Kahne who had produced albums for artists like Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney, Regina Spektor and others. With Kahne, he experimented in this new album with new arrangements and even using some percussion instruments, although in his earlier material, he had tried to stay away from such usage, saying they were too loud. The result is still acoustic and melodic but with "some additional texture to it" as he put it in an interview with Instinct magazine
