Extra Wax (Wax stylised in all caps) is a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl EP by Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall as a supplement to her sixth studio album, WAX . It was released on 13 April 2019. [1] The record contains two new non-album tracks, "John the Conqueror" and "Throw Down Boy", and a cover of Violent Femmes' "Blister in the Sun".
On March 1, 2019, Tunstall announced on Instagram a special version of her latest album, WAX, which was first released on 5 October 2018. [2] This special release included new tracks, but it was limited to only 1,000 copies. The EP was released in conjunction with the independent record store event Record Store Day on 13 April 2019.
Both "Throw Down Boy" and "John the Conqueror" had been bonus tracks that were originally only available for purchase in Scotland. "John the Conqueror" was written during the Tiger Suit sessions. [3] The "Blister in the Sun" cover is new.

Jesu are a British experimental metal band formed in 2003 by Justin Broadrick following the breakup of his band Godflesh. It shares its name with the last song on Hymns, the final album of Godflesh's initial run. Jesu's sound is heavily layered and textured, incorporating a diverse mix of influences. Broadrick himself has stated that "...it's very loosely speaking pop/rock/metal/electronica ... I'm intentionally writing what I consider to be coherent 'pop' songs".

Eye to the Telescope is the debut studio album by Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, originally released on 13 December 2004 and re-released 10 January 2005 by Relentless Records. On 19 July 2005, it was nominated for the 2005 Mercury Music Prize in the United Kingdom. Tunstall promoted the album in the United States and Canada in December 2005. The album was released on 7 February 2006 in the US. Also, a special CD/DVD edition of the album was released in September 2006 in the United States, along with a different cover and a bonus track.

"Fade Like a Shadow" is a 2010 song by Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall. It was released as the U.S. lead single for her third studio album Tiger Suit (2010). In August 2010, Tunstall performed an acoustic rendition of the track in 13 July at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan, using live looping to get the layering and harmonizing effects in the chorus. The song talks about accepting that a relationship has run its course, with the lovers parting ways.
