Ezira

Ezira is an Igbo speaking town in south eastern Nigeria in the Orumba South local government area, Anambra state, Ezira is also known as Eziha (Ozi Mba Ihe) which means "showing others the light" in the indigenous language. It has four satellite villages Obuotu, Ubaha, Imoohia and Okii, of which Obuotu is the head of the villages.[ citation needed ]

Ezira is an ancient town known for its divination of sun,[ citation needed ] and is surrounded by Umunze, Isulo, Eziagu, Umuchu and Achina. Ezira is thought to be the oldest town in the area, with myths and legends that stretches back to 9th century AD, as revealed by archaeological excavations of works of art in iron, bronze, bells, bracelets copper and pottery at Ezira.[ citation needed ]

Bapsfontein is a farming town in Ekurhuleni, South Africa, and falls into the Elandsvlei Conservancy area. It is situated at the intersection of the R25 and R50 roads. The area is known for its variety of birds as it is directly on the International Bird Route. The surrounding areas are made up of pristine grasslands and many pans are found in the area. Wetlands are protected in this area. Bapsfontein forms part of the catchment area for many essential rivers and dams.

The town shares boundaries on the West by Akpu and Amagu; on the East by Isulo and Ezira; on the North by Onneh and Ufuma; and on the South by Umueji, Ufuma.

Louis Trichardt, informally shortened to Louis Tri, is a town at the foot of Songozwi, in the Soutpansberg mountain range in the Limpopo province of South Africa. It is the centre of the Makhado Local Municipality, which comprises 16,000 km² with a total population of 270,000 (2001). Louis Trichardt is located in a fertile region where litchis, bananas, mangoes and nuts are produced. The N1 National Route runs through the town. Louis Trichardt is 437 kilometres from Johannesburg and one hour's drive from the Zimbabwean border at Beitbridge. Louis Trichardt was known for a time as Makhado, but it was changed back to Louis Trichardt. Vleifontein, Elim, Tshikota, Madombidzha, Makhado Park and Dzanani surround the town at all directions.
