Gin Blossoms is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. They rose to prominence following the 1992 release of their first major label album, New Miserable Experience, and the first single released from that album, "Hey Jealousy". "Hey Jealousy" became a Top 25 hit and went gold, and New Miserable Experience eventually went quadruple platinum; four other charting singles were released from the album. The band's follow-up album, Congratulations I'm Sorry (1996), went platinum and the single "As Long as It Matters" was nominated for a Grammy Award. Gin Blossoms broke up in 1997. Since reuniting in 2001, the band has released Major Lodge Victory in 2006, No Chocolate Cake in 2010, and Mixed Reality in 2018.
Jenever, also known as Hollands, genever, genièvre, peket, or sometimes as Dutch gin, is the juniper-flavored traditional liquor in the Netherlands, Belgium and adjoining areas in northern France and northwestern Germany. The European Union regulations specify that only liquor made in these two countries, two northern French departments and two German federal states can use the name jenever/genever/genièvre. Gin was developed in Britain after introduction of jenever to the island.
't Hof van Commerce is a Belgian hip hop crew from Izegem in the province West Flanders in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. Their name means 'commercial court' in their local dialect. Almost all their raps/lyrics are in West Flemish, the Dutch dialect of the province of West Flanders, with the exception of some lines sung in Limburgish by DJ 4T4 or a mix between those two dialects.

Before production begun, Wigmore travelled for two months in Mississippi and Alabama to get a Southern United States inspiration.

Cristina Durán Costell is an illustrator and cartoonist. She graduated in the faculty of Fine Arts of Valencia with speciality in Drawing. While she studied she created the fanzine No Aparcar Llamo GRUA with Miguel Ángel Giner, Robin and Alberto Botella. Later, in 1993 these four people created the company LaGRUAestudio, focused on the illustration of books and advertisements, comic and animation. She worked to reactivate the Asociación Profesional de Ilustradores de Valencia (APIV) 1997 and she was its president between the years 2006 and 2009. She also has been member of the Board of directors of the Federación de Asociaciones de Ilustradores Profesionales (FADIP) and of the founding board of the European Illustrators Forum (EIF).
