Face the Truth is an American syndicated panel talk show hosted by Vivica A. Fox, which ran from September 2018 to May 2019. It was distributed by CBS Television Distribution (now known as CBS Media Ventures). [1]

Series background

In March 2018, CBS announced that Face the Truth would be coming to its daytime television lineup. [2] [3] [4] The series was produced by Jay McGraw and Stage 29 Productions and had recruited panelists such as Jon Taffer, Judy Ho, and Rosie Mercado. [1] [2] [3] Phil McGraw also served as an executive producer on the series. [5] The show was filmed at Paramount Studios’ Stage 30 and used the same set as fellow CBS talk show The Doctors. [6]

It was described as a series focused on conflict resolution, with guests presenting problems and receiving advice from the panel of experts. [7] [5] The program also featured participation from a live studio audience that offered opinions on the problems presented in each episode. [8]

The show premiered on September 10, 2018. [9] After one season, CBS announced the program’s cancellation in April 2019. [1] [3] [4]

To Tell the Truth is an American television panel show in which four celebrity panelists are presented with three contestants and must identify which is the "central character" whose unusual occupation or experience has been read aloud by the show's moderator/host. When the panelists question the contestants, the two impostors may lie whereas the "central character" must tell the truth. The setup adds the impostor element to the format of What's My Line? and I've Got a Secret.

In prime time she starred opposite Patti LaBelle in the NBC sitcom Out All Night (1992–1993). Fox's breakthrough came in 1996, with roles in two box-office hit films, Roland Emmerich's Independence Day and F. Gary Gray's Set It Off.

Around the Horn (ATH) is an American sports roundtable discussion show, conducted in the style of a panel game, produced by ESPN. The show premiered on November 4, 2002, as a replacement for Unscripted with Chris Connelly, and has aired daily at 5:00 p.m. ET on ESPN ever since. The show has been recorded in New York City since September 8, 2014, and has had over 4,000 episodes aired as of 2020. The program emanated from Washington, D.C., where it was located in the same facility as Pardon the Interruption (PTI). Production still is based in Washington, D.C.
