Fairooj Labiba (better known as Labiba) is a Bangladeshi singer and YouTuber. [1] [2] She was crowned as a champion of Gaaner Raja 2019. [3]

Personal life and education

Labiba was born in Khulna. As of 2019, she was studying at Government Coronation Girls High School.[ citation needed ] Her elder sister Fairooj Maliha is also a singer. [4]

Career

Labiba started to learn singing when she was two years old. In 2019, she participated in Gaaner Raja and became champion. [5] [6] [7] Labiba's first original song, "Keno Eto Chai Toke", was released on 5 November 2019. [8] Labiba sang it alongside Imran Mahmudul. The song was written by Robiul Islam Jibon and was composed by Imran. [4] [9] The song has over 25 million views on YouTube.[ citation needed ]

The song is filmed on a theme where a sailor man's wife is dreaming about her husband's home coming. Farooque has acted as sailor captain in this film, who carry out the song. In 2021, for his single "Adha" he won the bronze award in the Male singer category at the Global Music Awards program, organised by a California-based organisation. His first English single "Drowning" was featured in various international magazines.

Keya Akter Payel commonly known as Keya Payel, is a Bangladeshi television actress, film actress and model. She is mostly popular for her works in Bangladeshi dramas. She has worked in a film Indubala as a lead actress. The film was released in theatre in 2019.
