Faisal Agab Sido (Arabic : فيصل العجب; born 24 August 1978) is a Sudanese former professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder and striker for the Sudan national team and the Sudanese club Al-Merreikh, where he wore the numbers 17 and 24, respectively. He was the captain at Al Merreikh SC. [1] [2]
Sido is the all-time Sudanese top goal scorer in the African championships with 21 goals and the Arabian championships with 7 goals. Agab is also the top scorer of the Sudanese League, with 119 goals total since 1998 when he scored his first against Al-Nile, which ended 3–0, 111 with Al-Merreikh, and 8 with Merreikh El Fasher. In the CECAFA Cup, Sido scored four goals for Al-Merreikh.
