Faith City School, formerly Faith Academy, is a state-integrated primary school in New Zealand. With a roll of around 150 students Faith City School is the largest inter-denominational school in the Wanganui area. Teaching the New Zealand state curriculum from a Christian perspective, the school caters for students from New Entrants (Year 0) to Year 8. The school was established and is still owned by Faith City Church (formerly Faith Community Church), a local Assemblies of God in New Zealand church.
In 1978, Faith City Church purchased land in Wanganui, New Zealand, for the purpose of establishing a Christian education based school. In 1979 the church opened Faith Academy with a roll of 25 students using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum, although this was later abandoned. In 1980 the school was officially registered with the New Zealand Ministry of Education. In 1995 Faith Academy became an integrated State School maintaining its Christian character and teaching emphasis. [2]
In 2013, the school underwent a name change an rebranding from Faith Academy to Faith City School. This was partially due to the dated term 'Academy' as well as bringing the name in line with the proprietors Faith City Church.

Youth of the Nation was an annual Christian Youth Conference held for 15 years in Wanganui, New Zealand. Unlike many other Christian conferences, YOTN was not held by one specific church or denomination. Youth of the Nation conferences and events were hosted by The Youth Of The Nation Trust in collaboration with other churches from around New Zealand. For the first 8 years the conferences were hosted by the Wanganui Christian Youth Workers collective, a group of Christian youth pastors & workers from different denominations & churches across the city of Wanganui. This collective included representatives from Anglican, Apostolic, Assemblies of God, Baptist, Open Brethren, Catholic, Incedo, Presbyterian, Christian Outreach Centre—now known as International Network of Churches—, Elim, Salvation Army, & non-denominational. From 2012 until 2018, the YOTN Trust partnered with churches, not only in Wanganui, but from across New Zealand to host events in different cities.

Benjamin Mark Hoyle is a Pentecostal Christian pastor in the Assemblies of God in New Zealand. Ben was the National Youth Director for the Assemblies of God in New Zealand from 2011 – 2016 and from 2004 – 2015 he was the Youth Pastor of Faith City Church in Wanganui, New Zealand, under Senior Pastor Iliafi Esera. Since 2003, Ben has been the director of New Zealand youth conference Youth Of The Nation.
