"Fakers Plague" (stylised in all caps) is a song by British metalcore band While She Sleeps. [1] Produced by Carl Bown, the track was released as a standalone single on 6 December 2019, nine months after the release of the band's fourth studio album, So What? . [2] [3] The song is later included in the deluxe edition of the band's fifth studio album Sleeps Society , released on 3 June 2022. [4] [5] As lead guitarist Sean Long explained, the band had a lot of anger building up within them, and they thought it was amazing to come together and express the song through music. [6] [7]

Music video

Their music video for "Fakers Plague" was released on the same day as the single was streamed. The band released it along with a special phone-sized prism that let the viewers watch the video as a hologram projected from viewers' device. [8]

Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up The Callous Heart the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.

While She Sleeps

While She Sleeps are a British metalcore band from Sheffield. Formed in 2006, the group consists of vocalist Lawrence Taylor, guitarists Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Aaran McKenzie and drummer Adam Savage. They are currently signed to their own label Sleeps Brothers in the UK and in collaboration with Spinefarm Records in the US and UNFD in Australia. They have released three EPs, And This Is Just the Start, Split and The North Stands for Nothing, and five studio albums, This Is the Six, Brainwashed, You Are We, So What? and Sleeps Society. They received the Best British Newcomer award at the Kerrang! Awards 2012. The group has maintained the same line-up since its formation, with vocalist Taylor being the only bandmate who is not an original member. Despite this, he has still appeared on every release apart from the group's first two EPs.

Set It Off (band) American rock band

Set It Off is an American rock band formed in 2008 in Tampa, Florida. The band initially gained a large following through vocalist Cody Carson's YouTube channel. Their following took on the name "143 family" later to be known as "Dreamcatchers". Set It Off was subsequently signed by Equal Vision Records after releasing a string of successful extended plays. In 2018 they signed to Fearless Records, and in February 2019 the band released Midnight, their fourth studio album, through the label.

Story Untold Canadian rock band

Story Untold is a Canadian rock band based in Laval, Quebec. Founded in 2012, the band signed with Hopeless Records in May 2016. Shortly after signing, they recorded their self-titled EP, then went on tour with Simple Plan and Hit the Lights. Story Untold currently includes vocalist and main songwriter Janick Thibault and drummer Jonathan Landry. In December 2019, the band left Hopeless Records and now remains as an independent group.

Vein.fm is an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts that formed in 2013. They are known for their frequent tours and have performed shows with groups such as Code Orange and Twitching Tongues while in Europe. In 2017 the band was signed onto Closed Casket Activities, who would issue their first full-length work Errorzone to warm reception among critics, even appearing on Revolvers early "Best Albums of 2018" list. The album also managed to peak at number 21 on Billboard's Hard Rock album chart. In July 2020, after the release of their remix album, the band announced it changed its name to Vein.fm.

<i>Sleeps Society</i> 2021 studio album by While She Sleeps

Sleeps Society is the fifth studio album by British metalcore band While She Sleeps. It was released on 16 April 2021, through the band's independent label Sleeps Brothers, in collaboration with Search and Destroy, Spinefarm Records, UNFD, and Universal Music. The album was produced by Carl Bown and Sean Long, the band's lead guitarist.
